2. Research Analysis
• This research has a qualitative approach. The authors state
that it is a qualitative research because is based on
descriptions (participants, environment, place) and the
thoughts and feelings of the authors.
• The purpuse oof this reseach is to find out if the activities that
were created by the athors were useful for students and if the
activities helped them to be motivated.
• The aim of this research is to increase the students motivation
by readings that contained cultural facts about American
culture.
• Authors used different types of written materials such as:
texts, articles, magazines, etc.
3. Reason
• The authors metion that they decided to do
this research because they noticed that the
students that they had, did not have a postive
attitude towards learning english. In my
opinion, I consider that noticing a problem or
a situation and trying to solve it is something
that all teachers should do. I consider the
authors as good teachers because they
proposed of what it might seem as a simple
solution but with a method behind it.
