The Headwaters Arts & Community Centre in an existing 19th century mill building underwent an expansion to accommodate demand for more conference rooms, public spaces, learning studios, and a restaurant. The renovation celebrated the heritage of the old industrial building while creating a new creative atmosphere for artists. The total wood structure, ceramic tile cladding, and stone landscaping produced a warm atmosphere with interior, exterior, and rooftop garden spaces.
