The SE12 uses a patented process called Nanoslic to apply a hydrophobic ceramic coating to stencils. It removes contaminants from the surface and increases surface area with millions of micro-rivets, creating the most durable stencil coating. The SE12-W variant can weld metals with 20 micron accuracy to create advanced multi-level stencils, with zero heat distortion and weld strength equal to the original material. No assist gas - Other laser welded Stencils require argon or nitrogen to weld step stencils.
The Watt Laser SE12-W does not.

No heat distortion - The Watt Laser system uses proprietary machine learning algorithms and
vacuum technology to eliminate flatness issues found in other multi level welds.
3. Large vacuum fixture - A 395x395mm precision engineered vacuum fixture for maximum
area and the highest quality. ( e.g. a customer recently did 35 separate welds of various
thicknesses in 1 operation).

Thin material welding is now possible. The SE12-W can weld down to 0.05mm thick
material.
5. High speed - Utilises beam steering optics for much faster welding.
6. Weld out of tension - Perfect for vector guard and other frameless stencil types.
7. Weld larger step increments in one operation - (e.g. 0.07mm to 0.25mm can be welded
directly in one operation).
8. High strength - Focus issues on other laser weld systems can be as a result of poor setup, but
most often from metal buckling under heat distortion, this causes the weld strength to be
compromised.
