High Rise Renovation: at CSA Group since 2011
New York State Insurance Fund, Manhattan Office: Project Architect for $40 million, 350,000 SF, 18
story office building renovation for five year phased construction project. Work includes finishes,
furniture, energy efficient building systems upgrades in conjunction with major code upgrade to add
sprinklers, fire alarm and ADA upgrade for all toilet rooms. Duties also included construction phasing
analysis, specifications and coordination of design and engineering systems to achieve LEED NC
Certification (Silver) and meet New York State Executive Order 88. Design completed 2014.

Transportation: at CSA Group since 2011 and The Sheward Partnership (TSP) 2000 - 2010
South Jersey Port Corporation: Project Architect at CSA Group for new storage and maintenance
facilities for a new port under construction in Paulsboro, NJ. Multi-year project design includes a
10,000 SF maintenance facility including locker rooms for port staff, renovation of an existing 4500 SF
building for administrative offices (completed 2012), 90,000 SF unheated short term storage and
100,000 SF prototype for multiple storage warehouses with roof top solar panels.
Penn DOT County Office and Maintenance Garage, Cumberland County, PA for Department of
General Services: Project Manager and Architect at TSP of design and construction of $7 million,
22,000 SF maintenance garage with 9,500 SF of training rooms, administration and maintenance
offices; construction completed 2011. CSA Group provided engineering design services.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Terminal F Expansion: Team Architect at TSP for early design
phases of $100 million expansion of airside and landside terminal features with new baggage claim
building to seek a Silver LEED Certification. Duties included quality control guideline, construction
phase planning, assisting with cost estimation, LEED and high performance design coordination,
vertical circulation coordination, envelope and under-slab waterproofing design and detailing,
engineering and specification coordination and assisting with product research, 2009.
Harrisburg International Airport (HIA), Middletown, PA -SARAA: Team Architect, Waterproofing and
Specification Coordinator at TSP for new $90 million passenger terminal which incorporated state of
the art security equipment and procedures, fully integrated in-line baggage screening, pedestrian
bridge, and over 15,000 SF of administration office space. Assisted chief project manager for terminal
complex through serving as Project Manager and Architect for fast track foundation, structural steel
early bid packages and for conveying systems separate bid package. Project Manager and Architect
for elevator tower addition to new airport parking garage. HIA complex design and construction 2002
- 2004.
Philadelphia International Airport, Terminal D Expansion, Concourse and Bag Claim: Project Architect,
Designer and Manager for Bag Claim ‘D’ Expansion phase and Team Architect for Concourse ‘D’
phase. Terminal D expansion included a total of 12,000 square feet with construction cost of $15
million and featured additional boarding gates, new baggage belt, custom oversized baggage lift and
phased construction to assure continuous airport operations; completed 2002. Terminal C Expansion:
Team Architect responsible for elevator and waterproofing detailing for the $4 million and 10,000 SF
expansion of Concourse ‘C’ in 1993.

Transportation: at The Sheward Partnership (formerly Sheward & Associates)1993 - 2010
PATCO, SEPTA and DRPA projects: Team Architect responsible for or assisting with specifications,
cost estimation, construction phasing, code approvals, waterproofing and special detailing. Projects
included: Renovations for two SEPTA Regional Rail stations and three PATCO High Speed Line
stations in addition to feasibility study for accessibility improvements, finish up grades including adding
elevators to eight PATCO stations with design and construction for two stations. Assisted with Cruise
ship terminal for Delaware River Port Authority of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, 2003 - 2009.
Atlantic City International Airport: Team Architect of the existing terminal upgrades including in-line
baggage screening expansion, security checkpoint expansion, vertical circulation and ATO
reconfiguration. Project Architect for design, systems coordination and construction documentation of
waterproofing and vertical circulation reconfiguration phase, 2005.
Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority: Project Architect for architectural components of an A/E
design team for on-call security and building system design services at Dulles International and
Reagan National Airports in Virginia. Team Architect for similar projects for Baltimore-Washington
International Airport in Maryland, 2003 - 2005.
Philadelphia International Airport projects: Project Architect and Manager or Senior Technical Support
for various terminal accessibility improvements, building system and finish upgrades, airline
maintenance and operations facilities and airport retail and rental car facilities. Team Architect
typically assisting with specifications; cost estimation, design review, construction phasing, code
analysis and approvals, LEED requirements and waterproofing and special detailing. As sub-
consultant to Burns Engineering served as Project Architect/Manager for Sprinkler System Expansion
