PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Robert T Angstadt Consulting and Development 2008 – Present Principal
Applying the design skills and interest in building I’ve acquired over the years has culminated in my current role as developer and
architectural consultant. I have completed and am finishing up the renovation of rental units in an investment property. I am also in the
design phase of a single-family home renovation. As an architectural consultant, I assisted my former employer, Ballinger, during the
project closeout phase of two large projects under construction.
Ballinger, Philadelphia, PA 1998 – 2008 Senior Project Architect
Responsible for leading multi-discipline teams of junior architects, structural and MEP engineers and administrative support staff on a
number of projects of various size, scope, and building type. As a member of the Higher Education Studio, most of the projects I worked
on were college and university science buildings. I was lab planner as well as project architect on a number of these projects. I also
specialized in construction administration services, often taking over a project after the design was completed or taking over during
construction on difficult jobs where my experience and relationship skills with the contractors and clients were needed.
