(Bernabé Sanchís Porta)
JOSÉ PÉREZ BARCELÓ, nace en Benidorm en 1917 y fallece en 1993. Relojero de profesión
estuvo vinculado a la Música desde su infancia, llegando a ser miembro de la Banda de esta
localidad con el trombón. En la década de los 70, desde la Presidencia de la Unión Musical de
Benidorm, impulsa a esta entidad y a todo lo que en la época significaba Música y Cultura en
su pueblo natal. Permanece en el cargo durante 15 años siendo nombrado, al final del mismo,
“Presidente de Honor” de esta Sociedad Musical.
El Maestro Bernabé Sanchís Porta compuso el pasodoble que lleva su nombre,
adquiriendo éste una gran popularidad y siendo interpretado con gran éxito en las fiestas de
toda la geografía española y extranjera. En agradecimiento y reconocimiento a su labor en pro
de la Música y de la Cultura, el Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Benidorm, acuerda poner su
nombre al Conservatorio Profesional de Música de esta localidad.

  • 1. Pérez Barceló Pasodoble (Bernabé Sanchís Porta) JOSÉ PÉREZ BARCELÓ, nace en Benidorm en 1917 y fallece en 1993. Relojero de profesión estuvo vinculado a la Música desde su infancia, llegando a ser miembro de la Banda de esta localidad con el trombón. En la década de los 70, desde la Presidencia de la Unión Musical de Benidorm, impulsa a esta entidad y a todo lo que en la época significaba Música y Cultura en su pueblo natal. Permanece en el cargo durante 15 años siendo nombrado, al final del mismo, “Presidente de Honor” de esta Sociedad Musical. El Maestro Bernabé Sanchís Porta compuso el pasodoble que lleva su nombre, adquiriendo éste una gran popularidad y siendo interpretado con gran éxito en las fiestas de toda la geografía española y extranjera. En agradecimiento y reconocimiento a su labor en pro de la Música y de la Cultura, el Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Benidorm, acuerda poner su nombre al Conservatorio Profesional de Música de esta localidad.
