3. Entrance / Access Control system
Access control System provides the ability to
control, monitor and restrict the movement of
people or vehicles.
Access control is essential for all businesses to
protect people & assets.
This system enhances & adds benefit of being
expanded from controlling.
There is also huge potential in terms of integrating
HR and other systems, such as Time and
Attendance, Visitor Management etc.
4. Gate Management System
Many kinds of electromechanical gates are
available to control the movement of pedestrians
or vehicles in the building campus.
Installation of these gadgets differ in the order of
sequence as per the location security
requirement.
Controlling process is called the gate
management.
5. Vehicle Access Control System
Access Control system which are used to restrict
and control the movement of vehicle entries in the
building campus is called vehicle control system.
1 - Boom Barrier
2 - Active Bollards
3 - Tire Killer
4 - Wedge Barrier (Road Blocker)
6. Pedestrian Access Control System
In order to regulate and control the flow or
movement of people’s Entry and Exit of premises
/ buildings, is called pedestrian Access Control
system.
Many kinds of gates are available according to
the level of security and freedom of movement
required.
1 - Tripod Turnstile
2 – Full Height Turnstile
3 – Speedstile
8. Tripod Turnstile
Tripod Turnstile is designed for applications of
low profile, high flow rate whilst maintaining a
high degree of security.
The unit consists of a mechanism that controls
the rotation of a Head Assembly that has three
tubular arms. These arms are positioned at 120°
intervals so that when the unit is at rest one arm
will always be in the horizontal position –
BARRIER POSITION.
9. The movement of the Head Assembly is
controlled by two solenoid devices, which allow
rotation in both directions –
(A)Clockwise
(B)Anti-clockwise.
13. Drive : Hand Operated
Material : Stainless Steel
Casework Lid : Stainless Steel
Tripod Hub : Cast Aluminum with grey
finish.
Tripod Arms : 38mm diameter 458mm
Stainless Steel with
welded end caps.
14. Function: Passage in both directions,
electronically controlled.
Mechanism: Control of the Tripod operation
is achieved by an electro -
mechanical head mechanism
located within the top section of
the turnstile casework. The unit
has the following features as
standard:
15. Normally Closed
The mechanism is locked until a valid
authorisation signal is received.
Normally Open
The mechanism is permanently unlocked and
will only lock if passage is attempted without a
valid authorised signal.
Power Supply: 115/230 Vac 50/60Hz
16. Power Rating:
Fail-Safe in N/C mode: 39W Stand by or Alarm
30W Passage
Fail-Safe in N/O mode: 10W Standby or Passage
39W in Alarm condition
Fail-Lock in N/C mode: 10W Stand by or Alarm
20W Passage
17. If equipped of optional Drop Arm device:
Fail-Safe in N/C mode: 50W
Fail-Safe in N/O mode: 20W Standby or Passage
50W in Alarm condition
Fail-Lock in N/C mode: 20 W
Logic Voltage: 24Vdc
18. Power Failure:
In the event of an emergency or isolation of the
power supply, the Tripod Turnstile can be
configured to Fail-Safe i.e. rotates freely or Fail-
Lock i.e. locks in the HOME position. Either
option is available in both, or one direction.
19. Fire Alarm: Input facility available for 0V contact
(normally closed).
Interface : The mechanism is controlled by
means of a Microprocessor control
logic with the following features:
· Three Built-In sensors directing the mechanism
position
· One input for opening/locking the mechanism in
each direction.
20. · Two protected outputs for control of the
opening/locking Solenoids
· One dry contact (0V) output relay for alarm
signalling.
Operating Temperature: 0° to 45°C
21. Use of Tripod turnstile
The Tripod turnstile is unlocked by presenting a
personalized identity card or device to the
access control reader. It can also be unlocked
by depressing push button, if fitted. This will
release the mechanism locking solenoids and
render the Tripod turnstile ready for use by
walking through the walkway passage in the
desired direction.
Should the user decide not to proceed with the
passage, the locking solenoid will remain
unlocked for a predetermined time after which it
will „time out‟ and reset the unit making it
available for the next person.
35. Photocell Sensor
The SlimStile EV ATT are equipped with 3
photocell sensors respectively.
The sensor is a reflective photocell.
The transmitter emits an infrared polarized
beam.
Transmitter and receiver are included in the
same case and the passenger is detected when
the infrared beam is interrupted.
36. It's equipped with two LEDs that allow one
complete diagnosis of the photocell functioning:
LED1 ON The photocell is feed.
LED2 ON The reflector is correctly aligned
OFF Instable state or absence of signal
reflection from the reflector

39. Distance Sensor
The Tripod Turnstile is equipped with a distance
sensor.
It is a Laser IR time-of-flight measurement sensor
and it is used to detect the presence of an object
or persons within a certain distance.
The detection distance is set in factory.
It's equipped with two LEDs that allow one
complete diagnosis of the photocell functioning:
40.
41. LED1 ON (green) the sensor is feed.
LED2 ON (yellow) an object is detected
OFF no objects in the detection field
