My work have been the design of plastic mold:
preliminary sketch of the mold with analysis of the critical zones of the part and dimension of the plates and features
of the mold. Modify of the “element” with agree of the costumer . Order of the plates.
Realization of the 3D of the mold parts according to the start of the work in the workshop milling.
2D design of all mechanical parts of the mold.
Order of all normalized -designed parts. Definition, price request and order of eventual hot runner system .
3D design of electrodes.
Support to the workshop for every step of the work
The mold that I designed was :
esthetical part for automotive market like esthetical bezel and carter, or not esthetical parts like Inner doorpannel or
coverings. The parts was for various car brand Like : Fiat –Alfaromeo, Ferrari, VW,Audi, etc.
Sometimes bicomponet mold (not rotative). Part for gardening. Big carter and air grille for Claas.
German and English call with customer.
Some of the customer was TRW Italia, TRW Czech, Jama (Germany),AKT (Germany), HCM, Martinplast, Gamma,
Sigom.
