Medium Size Company, European Leader of Interior system for Coach, Transit Bus and Railcar.
R&D – Director 7/2006 – 10/2010
Responsible of the Technical department of Ellamp Interior (a GHE Group company), that builds interior systems
for Buses and Train for the main OEM in the world.
Leader of a dedicated team of 18 people, responsible for all technical aspects linked with Innovation,
development and the Maintenance of Interior Lighting and Luggage racks. (Window to window system)
Selected Accomplishments:
• Sales and Technical Leader of GHE’s major Interior system project (Daimler, Irisbus, Bombardier,..)

- Lancia Delta :
Responsible for the development of this new model derivate from the New Fiat Bravo with focus on technical
aspect and on the profitability of the initiative.
Leader of a cross functional team dedicated to the definition of the initiative and all the technical characteristic
necessary to fulfill requirements coming from the market.
Report to C-Platform Director, coordinate activity to make the different style proposal feasible and evaluating cost
and investment necessary to produce it.

- C–SUV :
Responsible for the economic analysis linked to this segment opportunity.
It was an activity related to the product portfolio definition, and as for the Lancia Delta I’ve developed a Business
case (step before the initiative)
- Alfa Romeo 147 and new 147 (Giulietta)
Responsible for the development of the new model with particular focus on the technical and economic aspects.
For the actual 147 I assumed responsibility for the product profitability and its configuration (trade of between
Marketing request and technical aspect).
During this experience of Vehicle Initiative Manager I developed a sensibility for the profitability of the product;
supported by the technical department my goal was to increase the product profitability and define the actions to
reach this target.
FIAT AUTO - Model responsible of Fiat Stilo - Turin, Cassino Italy 9/2003- 9/2004
Technical and economical responsible for the actual Fiat Stilo with particular focus on quality improvement - costs
reduction – configuration and development of special series/new engines
Main achievements:
- Launch of the Stilo FL’04 with 2 new engine version
- 100 € per car of cost reduction
- 20% of quality improvement
This experience enabled me to recognize production and after sales problems, and how to solve them.
I lead a dedicated team of 10 people, strongly collaborating with Quality department and marketing

FIAT / GM – Product Competitivity Russelsheim (Germany) / Turin (Italy)
Chief Engineer Cost Optimization Factory 7/2002- 9/2003
Responsible for a mixed group Fiat (5) – Opel (5) geared to generating ideas for cost reductions by physically
analyzing the products of the two mother companies and competitors, and facilitating the standardization of
components.
Main achievements:
- Fiat saving of 20 million euros (2003-2006)
- Opel saving of 12 million euros (2003 – 2006)
Very interesting experience that opened my mind to a different way of working “by touching the components”
collaborating with a completely different organization (GM).
My technical product knowledge and coaching characteristics greatly increased.
This Joint venture project was successful ; due to the limited size of the team and the collaborative working
behavior we settled that was stimulating both companies to work together.
FIAT AUTO – Component Development Platform
Co-ordinator of bodywork system 5/2000-7/2002
Co-ordinator of technical development of innovative projects in co-operation with main suppliers of bodywork
systems (subsequently also chassis).
Main achievements:
- Design validation of standardized components as latch, door check links, auto opening system, … to facilitate
installation handled by the platform
During this period, I have increased my knowledge on different components and I have learned how to handle
innovative projects, identifying which could be interesting for an application in future vehicles.

Responsible for different Market : Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria,Turkey
Main achievements:
- Installation of the Autoexpert system on the Markets
- Optimization of the used car returned from the Rent Car companies through special offer to dealers,
international traders, auction, inter-markets exchanges.
As was the aim of the Inter-functional project (in which I was) I have developed a product sensibility looking at the
car with the commercial eyes, understanding the rules and technicality related to the used car business.
