This document outlines the activities and timeline of the ExplOERer project, which aims to develop policy recommendations supporting open educational resource (OER) reuse in Europe. The key activities include conducting research on OER guidelines and courses, hosting a webinar and expert seminar in 2016, publishing results, and developing final policy recommendations by July 2016 to outline necessary steps for OER development and reuse. The recommendations will be informed by the results of the other project activities and coordinated with dissemination events in Warsaw and Brussels.

OTHER OUTPUTS
• The research and training activities in O1 (guidelines for training of
adult educators on OER reuse), O2 (open online course) and O3
(social networking and gaming capacities of OER) will be used as
a basis for developing policy recommendations.
• At the webinar, findings of the O1, O2 and O3 results will be
showcased and will be linked to orientations for further action.
• The publication will be grounded on O1, O2 and O3 data.
• Policy recommendations will be based on experiences and know-how
gained in O1, O2 and O3.
• Creating policy recommendations will be coordinated with the E2
multiplier events in Warsaw and in Brussels.
9. PERIOD OF EXPECTED INTENSIVE
WORK AND MILESTONES
• expert seminar + publication + policy recommendations
in spring and early summer 2016
• Conference in Warsaw and policy event in the European
Parliament in Brussels in February 2016.
• (optimally, some effort related to policy
recommendations at the end of O1, O2, O3)
10. POINTS TO DISCUSS WITH THE
TEAM
• can we use the oerpolicy.eu site as a supplementary site
to store ExplOERer content - the part that’s focused on
policy?
• expert seminar: can we consider other conferences to
attach ourselves to (for example OER15 in UK)?
• timing of the dissemination events - we need to take into
account policy calendar around OER issues
• potential overlap and co-funding from CC and Open
Policy Network
