1. Develop and implement Open Access policy in
Europe on international, national and local
levels
2. Make the case for Open Access to
political leaders, libraries, university
managers, and researchers on various levels
6. Policy development & implementation
To accelerate and increase Open Access content in
– our institutional and subject repositories, and
– peer-reviewed academic content in OA-journals and OA-
monographs
• We lobby for more Open Access to Europe’s research results on
international and national levels in particular
• We analyse international policies to bring
good practice to the European
Open Access Community
7. We are advocates of Open Access
• We provide materials and tools to help
– raise OA awareness
– provide evidence for the case for OA
– train researchers and students, e.g. in how to
uphold the Horizon2020 policy
