2.  The fashion industry began in the 19th century.
 The fashion industry started in Paris
 The first real fashion shows were organized in
the 20th century by Jeanne Paquin
 After the world war II, Paris was no longer the
global center of fashion
 In the 50s the focus of fashion changed as a new
youth style emerged.

3. Iris Van Herpen:
 She was born in Wamel, The Netherlands.
 She is know for fusing technology with traditional
couture craftsmanship.
 She debuted her first collection “Chemical Crows”,
at the 2007 Amsterdam fashion week.
 She did an intership with the late Alexander
Mcqueen and Claudy Jongstra.
 She was one of the first designers to adopt 3D –
printing as a garment construction technique.

4. Coco Chanel:
 She was a French fashion designer and
businesswoman.
 The founder and namesake of the Chanel brand.
 A prolific fashion creator, Chanel extended her
influence beyond couture clothing, realizing her
design aesthetic in jewellery, handbags, and
fragrance.
 She is the only fashion designer listed on Time
magazine's list of the 100 most influential people of
the 20th century.
 Chanel herself designed her famed interlocked-CC
monogram, which has been in use since the 1920s.

industry, practitioners around the world will highly benefit
from having a good domain of English language.
 With the English you have greater opportunities to generate
company abroad and internationalize the company
 If you want to obtain new textiles and innovate you must
know English to be able to comunicate with other suppliers
 With English you can make alliances with people who are
experts in fashion abroad and generate more money.
 The English is very important and with you can generate
work in other countries and do interviews without difficulties.

8.  I am interested in this career and be
professional because I love to
generate new things for humanity
and that are to their liking.
 I love to design clothes so people feel
good and have a good self-esteem
 My dream is to have my own brand
and with part of my earnings help
the homeless dogs.

9.  I am interested in this career since I
like to innovate and create.
 I like to transmit feelings, emotions,
sensations through clothing.
 My dream is to have my own company
recognized worldwide.
