I have adopted records management policy togovern the creation, management and
disposition of the records. To implement the policy which facilitate a set of standard
operating procedures and guidelines, including standard naming conventions, best practice
guidelines and records retention and disposal policies .
DUTIES
Managing the insurance records and information resources in the Underwriting
department registry and maintaining an up to date reference systems’.
Receiving, sorting, classifying both electronically and manually, scanning, dispatching
and indexing into the system of incoming and outgoing mails.
Filling of documents and valuation reports in relevant files, rooting of files to action
officers and ensure safety, confidentiality and security of underwriting records
efficiently.
Ensure all Underwriting records are well maintained to facilitate easy retrieval of
records, as the records management policy practice of (ATIP-CARD) formula.
Answering telephone calls, direct calls and take urgent massages, dispatching of mails,
issuing of insurance certificates to clients and branch offices.
Addressing franking machine, scanning machine, printing and photocopying machines,
scanning with pdf.
LIBRARY ASSISTANT
Assist library users to locate books and information resources efficiently.
Enforcing policies regarding tonoise, eating and drinking effectively.
Engaging with the library users on face to face communication and over the
telephone.
Registering new users, checking their ID and then issuing membership card, updating
systems and explaining what facilities and services users are entitled to.
Handling payments, including cash in relation to fines.
Checking areas of the library to ensure that information on display is up to date
Maintaining stock of stationary, supplies and help sheets.
Preparing stock for the shelves, shelf tidying and repairing torn books.
Referring complex enquiries to other staff appropriately.
