Reporting to your Supervisor
Immediately report to
your Supervisor if the
below occurs:
• Unsafe Conditions
• Unsafe Acts
• Near Misses
• Accidents
If in doubt, apply SGRE Life
Changing Rule #7 - STOP
Report ALL Incidents/Accidents!
You are required to report all:
• Incidents
• Hazards
• Near Misses
Your first point of contact is your Supervisor. If your Supervisor is
not available, contact your Site Manager or SHEQ Advisor
Note: Any serious incident/accident requires:
• all parties to stop work immediately, secure the situation/area
• raise the alarm as required and notify your Supervisor
• follow-up investigation and reporting closeout immediately
after the situation/event allows
18
Daily Reporting
The Quip-check app is the preferred reporting tool to comply
with SCC SIMS systems on this project, and includes the
following -
• Daily Prestart Meetings – before project works start
• Weekly Toolbox meetings – nominated day to suit onsite
needs
• Step Back 5x5 – complete prior to starting any new task
• Safety Observations (Good or bad observations)
• Hazard Reporting
• Incident Notification
• SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) Reviewed signed.
• Plant prestart check lists daily and weekly, in Quip-check
19
Environmental
• Consideration and care must be taken when working within
the Kaiwera Wind Farm boundary limits to minimize any
impact/disruption to fauna & surroundings
• An onsite spill of ANY kind must be contained where possible
and reported immediately to your Supervisor or SHEQ Advisor
– all vehicles and machinery must carry spill kits when operating onsite
• Toilets will be provided and must be used when working
onsite – immediately report any faults or if the toilet requires
servicing to your Supervisor
• Please dispose of rubbish in the allocated bins provided –
Please contact your Supervisor for clarification if in doubt
• Call SHEQ Advisor if you have any environmental questions for
this site

• Lapse in attention or reduction in
performance
• Keep an eye on your work mates for any
change in behaviour.
Sleep recommendations
• Minimum 6 hours continuous sleep in first 24
hour period
• Minimum 14 hours sleep over 48 hour period
21

buttoned, short sleeve shirts are less likely to get
caught on moving parts, which can cause serious
harm or death.
Gloves
•Do not wear gloves when working near rotating
shafts or other moving machinery parts
•When wearing gloves for safety reasons, make
sure you have identified them as suitable for your
task
Boots
Boots should be worn correctly and laces, zips
