Musical Note Defined as a symbol that designates the duration and
pitch of a sound.
Notes tell you what sounds to sing or play and how long
these must be sung or played.
Musical Rest designates the duration of a silence or the absence of
sound.
Rest tell you when to breathe or stop playing to make the
musical piece pleasing to the ear.

note plus another half of its value.
- The half note receives two beats but when a dot is
added to it, the dot receives one-half of the value of the
