engineering and fabrication department.
Main tasks
Study and modelling of workflows in APOS (management system) describing roles,
activities, requirements and best practices in the machine workshop.
Preparing job packages and verification documents for the fabrication department.
Preparing final documentation for manufacturing record books
Working with Inventor 2013, modelling 3D and detail drawings for ongoing projects.
Carrying out HSEQ related activities during load testing of fabricated equipment
Carrying out tender related activities.

3D rendering and analysis to determine COG and weight on offshore module onboard
the Deepsea Bergen drilling rig. Client: Odfjell Drilling and Technology AS
Performance
Erik Karlsen is responsible and precise “of nature”. As a student coming to a completely new
work environment he is proactive and very willing to learn using his high level of work
capacity. He quickly understands new assignments and he works hard to meet the given
