 The key benchmark indices snapped a two-day losing streak on Monday. After opening on a flat note indices re-
mained under pressure and slipped lower in the first half.
 Finally, the BSE Sensex ended with a gain of 120 points at 27,902. The BSE Sensex opened at 27,827 touched an intra-
day high of 27,953 and low of 27,699. The NSE Nifty closed with a gain of 35 points at 8,607. The NSE Nifty opened
at 8,584 hitting a high of 8,622 and low of 8,544.
 The Nifty remained under pressure in the first half. However, buying in auto, media, metals, oil & gas and a few
other heavyweights helped the index to end 35 points higher. Nifty futures settled at a premium of 43 points. India
VIX fell 3.0% to settle at 13.2.
 FIIs bought 287 crore while DIIs bought 17 crore in the cash segment. FIIs bought 41 crore in index futures and 165
crore in index options. In stock futures, they bought 407 crore.
 The highest Put base is at the 8500 strike with 59 lakh shares while the highest Call base is at the 9000 strike with 40
lakh shares. The 8700 and 8800 Call strikes saw additions of 1.5 and 4.4 lakh shares, respectively, while the 8500 and
8600 Put strikes saw additions of 10.5 and 9.2 lakh shares, respectively
 Nifty Future: The Nifty is likely to open positive on the back of strong global cues. Buy Nifty in the range of 8640-
8650 for targets of 8680-8700, stop loss: 8625.
 Bank Nifty Future: The Bank Nifty index ended almost flat for two days in a row. However, selling is clearly visible
on bounce in both sessions. We feel that unless the index ends above 19500, it is likely to witness some pressure on
rise. Sell Bank Nifty in the range of 19450-19500, targets: 19350-19250 stop loss: 19580
