What is a campus chargeback?
Many educational, institutional and
industrial complexes (campuses) have
centralized utility distribution systems
with their own utility plants


Individual buildings are served from the
central “in-house” system; they don’t
receive utility bills from commercial
vendors


A “chargeback” is one name for the
allocation of usage and cost to these
individual buildings or spaces.
Other names are:
allocations, rebillings, distributions
