Counselling Session and Parents Teacher Meeting for AS Level

The First year of A levels can be very demanding for the students and parents .Being parents we all
understand that it is very important not only to know what is going on in our children’s life but also what to
expect and be prepared for it.
Keeping this in mind, Generation’s School is holding a session for parents and students on Friday, October
11, 2013 for increasing their awareness and how they could assist their children at this crucial juncture when
they are required to make important decisions in their life .
This session will be followed by Parent Teacher Meeting. The reporting time for parents and students is 3:00
pm.
As for the PTM, a bell will ring every five minutes to indicate the start and end of your allocated time with
the teacher. We are sending out an Appointment Sheet with your son/daughter for you to indicate the
teacher you want to meet. Your son daughter will in turn get appointments from the concerned teachers and
show you Appointment Sheet, which will guide you during the PTM.
You need not to meet all the teachers if you don’t feel the need. However, there may be a teacher who might
want to meet you if he/she has any concerns. In that case the student would be informed accordingly.
However, it is mandatory for each student to have appointments with at least three teachers.
If you feel you want an extended discussion with the teacher, please ask your son /daughter to get follow-up
appointment at a later date.
