equality; PCM & logical framework. Over 30 years of full time Ag economics and policy researcher with Agricultural
Research Corporation (Sudan) and its think tank-Agricultural Economics and Policy Research Centre (Khartoum
North). Fair experience in using the WB-ADePT Software platform for applied economic analysis: ADePT software
developed to automate and standardize the production of analytical reports. ADePT uses micro-level data from
various types of surveys, such, as Household Budget Surveys, Demographic and Health Surveys and Labour Force
surveys to produce rich sets of tables and graphs for a particular area of economic research. ADePT dramatically
reduces time required for the production of analytical results, minimizes human errors, allows easy introduction of
new techniques and methods to a wide audience of policy practitioners, and allows users to free up resources for
other activities, including drawing policy implications from the empirical evidence. I use the WB- ADePT Software
with the new module ADePT FSM (Food Security Module) developed in cooperation with the Statistic Division of UN
FAO. ADePT FSM derives a rich set of food security statistics from the National Household Surveys, such as Living
Standards Measurement Study (LSMS), Household Budget Surveys (HBS), and other micro-level surveys containing
data on household food consumption
