2. Introduction
 My Grandparents and parents
came to Australia in 1975 for a
better life and to work to support
their family. Turkey was also in a
economic crisis and this is why they
also came.

3. Music in my culture
 My Culture has many traditional styles
and instruments, but our national
instrument is the ‘Saz’ it is a oval
shaped guitar with a long stick to attach
the strings. Many famous turkish
musicians use it and has many desgins.

 I live in Australia but my cultural
background is Turkish. Turkey is in
the middle east and has many
cultural instruments and styles of
music. Turkish music can be upbeat
and also slow. The pitch is usually
high and has a simple texture with
not too much technology.
