This included working with the Lion's Club so students could have glasses, local food banks, and other
community organizations providing services and support for low income families.
LIFE, Latino Parent Organization supporting Spanish speaking parents - (South Jackson Elementary)
Worked with Spanish speaking parents and families to help them become involved with the school and its
leadership. This group held fund-raisers to purchase Spanish books for library and provided access to English
comprehension technology.
Prince Avenue Baptist Church Singles Ministry - Directed a group of 100+ Athens singles in local and
international outreach. With Leadership team, planned weekly classes, social events, and outreach programs.
Created monthly newsletters and maintained the web site.
