2. WORK EXPERIENCE
Finland:
• Project Coordinator, Vaisala Oyj.Weather - Project and Customer Services
(PCS).
From September 2011(continuing).
Duties:
Advance knowledge of international trade and project management including but
not limited to the following wide spectrum of responsibilities:
Focusing on commercial, banking, financial, freight and export related issues,
contract and logistics management, reporting and data archiving in compliance
with Customs and auditing regulations. Project Coordinator is involved through
the whole Project Life Cycle from tender phase to warranty period, ensuring full
compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract and Vaisala’ s general
policies, efficiently implementing any changes or amendments that may arise
during project execution, systematically monitoring the project implementation
and its schedule; carrying out analysis for the purpose of optimizing solutions and
costs, maximizing financial, operational, delivery and customer service
performance, identifying and reducing potential risk makers and handling of
reclamations. Project coordinator’s is on the frontline of complex global projects
and together with the project manager is the customers’ main point of contact.
Project Coordinator is working on daily basis with a great deal of internal
stakeholders of different functional disciplines such as sales and legal, project
managers and project experts, heads of market segments, technicians,
manufacturing and production planning, sourcing and purchasing, shippers,
warehouse coordinators, field services and service coordinators, helpdesk, LCM,
product and application managers, tax manager, Trade & Compliance, business
controllers and accounting, credit control, BSC etc. as well as daily liaising with
external stakeholders such as customers, agents, suppliers, forwarders,
warehouses, insurance companies, banks, Chamber of Commerce, embassies, tax
authorities, Customs, other authorities. In smaller scale standard delivery projects
(quick projects) the project coordinator is acting as a project manager being
responsible for project implementation by entering the project into Ebs Project
Module (agreement, funding, revenue forecast, baselined approved revenue
budget) and further executing the customer purchase order/contract with the help
of technical support from systems experts and technicians.
Project Coordinator is responsible for handling sales commissions, order
acknowledgments and booking the sales orders into production, sales order
processing in Ebs, shipping documentation, milestone invoicing, bank guarantees
and documentary credits.
The Project Coordinator is a strong contributor to the achievement of goals set by
the management group.

Vaisala Oyj on temporary basis to fill in the vacancy during my colleague’s maternity

the Middle East, Far East, Africa, others. By far I am especially proud about my personal
