Nissan is the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, having sold around 270,000 EVs in 46 countries. Connected electric vehicles will play a big role in smart cities and mobility of the future through vehicle-to-grid technology and smart grids. Nissan is taking a 360 degree approach to future mobility through initiatives like vehicle-to-grid, battery second life applications, and partnerships to develop charging infrastructure and energy storage solutions using repurposed EV batteries. The first commercial vehicle-to-grid solution was recently launched in Europe.
