Are you good enough
to go to Heaven?
Some may say the following statements about Heaven:
"Nobody can know for sure that they are going to Heaven, right”? WRONG!
“Heaven is where we earn our wings and become angels”! WRONG!
“I don’t want to go to Heaven because it will be boring there!” WRONG!
“Heaven is where my loved ones watch over me above the clouds”! WRONG!
“I will reunite with my deceased pets in Heaven”! WRONG!
“Heaven is Hell and Hell is Heaven”! WRONG!
“Heaven doesn’t exist! It’s all made up!” WRONG!
“Heaven is on earth”! WRONG!
“All paths (all religions) lead to Heaven regardless of what you believe”! WRONG!
"I guess we'll have to wait till we get there to find out, right?" WRONG!
“If my good outweighs my bad, I'll probably go to Heaven, right”?
WRONG!
“Heaven is a not a literal place but a spiritual place!” WRONG!
“Heaven is not a literal place but a state of consciousness!” WRONG!
“God is love! So everyone is going to Heaven”! He accepts and loves everyone just the way they
are”! WRONG!
"If I try my best to do good in my life, won't God let me into heaven”? WRONG!
"Well, I'm not as bad as a criminal or a murderer! I may not be perfect but I think I’m good
enough to deserve Heaven"! WRONG!
To presume that what you have been taught all your life must be true without
proving it to be true is the epitome of foolishness. Your soul is the only possession
you have that has eternal value! God has placed eternity in all the hearts of men
(Ecclesiastes 3:11). How do we know that? For starters, every person on the planet
knows that all will die someday. Every person on the planet has both an obsession of
the afterlife (that is life beyond the grave) and the constant fear of death (Hebrews
2:15). Death is inevitable for the living as there is no way we can escape or cheat
death (Ecclesiastes 9:2; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22). Every person on the planet knows
that you cannot take anything with you once you die. That means your spouse,
children, house, cars, money, possessions, beauty, health, etc. will all be left behind
or can be easily taken from you in an instant. Nobody can, ever have, or ever will be
able to possess these things forever in this life. The only thing that will be
transferred over to the after life is your soul and will return to God who gave it
(Ecclesiastes 12:7).
"For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it" (1 Timothy 6:7).
“The Lord sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and exalts”
(1 Samuel 2:7).
"For he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendor will not descend with
him" (Psalms 49:17).
"Naked a man comes from his mother's womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes
nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand" (Ecclesiastes 5:15).
“……..Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the
Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised” (Job 1:21).
“Riches profit not in the day of wrath; but righteousness delivered from death” (Proverbs 11:4;
Proverbs 10:2).
The Bible makes it clear that there is no such thing as
annihilation (the soul ceases to exist in the afterlife), purgatory
(a place in the afterlife that where people get their sins purge
before entering Heaven), reincarnation (coming back to the world
as a form of another person, plant, or an animal), or a soul
having unfinished business on earth (that is a soul lingering upon
the face of the earth if he/she died tragically), or a second
chance in the afterlife (universalism). Once we die, our soul
belongs to God who gave it in the first place (Ecclesiastes 12:7;
Ezekiel 18:4). It is solely up to God who judges our earthly life and
determines where we will spend eternity; either being eternally
present with Him in Heaven or eternally separated from His
presence in Hell (Luke 16:19-31). Do not trust in what man tells
you (Isaiah 2:22). What does God have to say about salvation and
going to Heaven? That’s what’s important! He has the final word!
Let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4).
This leads me to the point of this message,
Are you good enough to go to there?
Let’s see if you’re good enough to go there?
Keep in mind, there will be a number of questions on the following slides
so please be honest with your answers! Don’t side-step the questions!
Some questions may or may not apply to you!
I’m not saying that you should read this aloud but read these questions to yourself! It is confidential!
If you don’t feel comfortable in taking this test, you’re free to end this slideshow here!
Otherwise, you may proceed to the next slide! Good Luck!

have to say about salvation and going to Heaven? That’s what’s
important!
You’re probably wondering why I asked you all these questions and may think I’ve been a bit
extreme, but in my own words, I have brought you to know God’s moral Law, the Ten
Commandments!
So, how did you do? Did you pass the test? Were you honest with all your answers? Can you
honestly admit you’ve kept all that God required? Let’s be honest, we all have broken the Ten
Commandments (including myself). No one is exempted and no one is perfect! However, let’s just
say if you were to die now, and if God were to judge you based on the Ten Commandments on
Judgment Day, do you think you will be declared innocent or guilty? When you compare yourself
to other people, you may think of yourself as a good person. However, comparing yourself to
other people doesn’t mean nothing to God. You can justify yourself saying you’re not as evil as a
murderer or a rapist but that is not going to change God’s mind about you. In fact, God is not
going to measure you up with other wicked people and neither is He going to let you off the
hook! He is going to be righteous and just and will measure you according to His commandments
(His Law)! We will all face Him and will be judged based on God's standard (the Ten
Commandments) of righteousness, not our own. In the end, it doesn’t matter what you say or do,
it’s what God says that matters!
Breaking God’s commandment is called sin (1 John 3:4).
One esteemed pastor by the name of John Piper defined sin as:
• The glory of God not honored.
• The holiness of God not reverenced.
• The greatness of God not admired.
• The power of God not praised.
• The truth of God not sought.
• The wisdom of God not esteemed.
• The beauty of God not treasured.
• The goodness of God not savored.
• The faithfulness of God not trusted.
• The commandments of God not obeyed.
• The justice of God not respected.
• The wrath of God not feared.
• The grace of God not cherished.
• The presence of God not prized.
• The person of God not loved.
THAT IS SIN!
Your soul, however, lives on forever! There is no such thing found in the
Scriptures that teaches annihilation (the soul ceases to exist in the
afterlife), purgatory (a place in the afterlife that where people get their
sins purge before entering Heaven), reincarnation (coming back to the
world as a form of another person, plant, or an animal), or a soul having
unfinished business on earth (that is a soul lingering upon the face of
the earth if he/she died tragically). Once we die, our soul belongs to God
who gave it in the first place (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Ezekiel 18:4). It is up to
God who judges our earthly life and determines where we will spend
eternity; either being eternally present with Him in Heaven or eternally
separated from His presence in Hell (Luke 16:19-31). Do not take your
chances! Do not trust in what man tells you (Isaiah 2:22). What does God
have to say about salvation and going to Heaven? That’s what’s
important!
The Ten Commandments reflect God's standard of holiness for everyone. Since God is the divine supreme
authority of moral conduct, all of humanity is subject to His standards (regardless of who they are, where they
live, and what age they lived in). According to the Bible, no one is exempt from God's Law (Romans 3:19). Some
say that the Ten Commandments do not apply to them, since they did not grow up with "religion”. However, the
Bible reveals that the requirements of the Law are written on our hearts with or without it (Romans 2:25). God
created the Ten Commandments to reveal that the hearts of men are exceedingly sinful and no one can ever live
up to His standards of perfection (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7). However, there are many who lower His standards
and His nature by claiming He outweighs the good over the evil that we commit. There are also many who live out
their own moral standards by defining what’s good and what’s evil. There are others who try to adhere to God’s
standards so that they can earn both their salvation and His approval. And yet, there are even some people who
appeal to a moral standard of conduct that they themselves don’t live up to. Regardless of what man believes or
does, God rejects all human righteousness because it contradicts His Law and His nature.
Why? He rejects it for many reasons:
• Human righteousness is external; you may be able to change your actions but you cannot change your heart (only
God can change and judges the intentions of the heart).
• Human righteousness steals the glory of God and glorifies man. It draws attention only to you for all the good things
you’ve done and gives you the right to boast.
• Human righteousness results in looking down upon others. It often condemns and makes you superior, more holier,
and more saint-like than the rest! It leads to wrong comparison of judging others more than judging ourselves.
• Human righteousness will always lead to guilt. It tends to make people feel guilty of not doing enough good works to
earn their salvation.
• Human righteousness is like filthy rags to Him! Can you think of anything that is vile, sick, dirty, corrupt, filthy,
and putrid on earth? Well…… That’s how God views human righteousness apart from His righteousness!
• Human righteousness cannot pay for your past, present, and future sins. No matter how much good you do, it will
never be able to cover and take away sins. This can lead people into thinking they can lose their salvation if they
don’t keep up with their good works (which leads to uncertainty).
• Human righteousness doesn’t lead to humility and repentance! It leads only to arrogance and pride!
• Human righteousness results in self-deception! You become “like God”! You decide what’s acceptable and right in
your own eyes! Consider this: How good do I have to be? Is there a cut off point that determines you’ve earned
Heaven?
• Human righteousness is of the Devil! The Devil likes to deceive people to think there’s another way to reach God and
that is by their good works!
• Human righteousness refuses the provision that God has already provided since the foundation of the world through
the work and person of the Savior Jesus Christ (which we will emphasize later)!
That’s what’s
important!
There are many who make the mistake of thinking they will get into Heaven because of their good works they have done or
simply believe they are morally good. Sadly, that wouldn't make a person justified in God's sight. The Bible says otherwise:
"......and all of our righteousness (that is good works) are as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6).
"Though I am righteous, my mouth will condemn me; though I am guiltless, He will declare me guilty (Job 9:20).
"Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law" (Romans 3:20).
"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law" (Romans 3:28).
"For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God"
(Romans 4:2).
"Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to
God's righteousness" (Romans 10:3).
"I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly”. (Galatians
2:21).
"Know that a man is not justified by observing the law......." (Galatians 2:16).
"For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse" (Galatians 3:10).
"Clearly no one is justified before God by the law........" (Galatians 3:11).
“You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace” (Galatians 5:4).
“And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace” (Romans 11:6).
"For the law made nothing perfect....." (Hebrews 7:19).
“There is a kind who is pure in his own eyes, yet is not washed from his filthiness” (Proverbs 30:12).
“All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the LORD” (Proverbs 16:2).
“They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything
good” (Titus 1:16).
“He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts.
What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight” (Luke 16:15).
That’s what’s
important!
God demands perfection, holiness and righteousness in order to enter Heaven (for it is
place that reflects His character and nature) but the Bible tells us we cannot uphold
such standards.
Why? Because we are all wicked and aren’t good enough to go to Heaven!
"There is NONE righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10).
"There is NONE that doeth good, no not one," (Romans 3:12).
"For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23).
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way
death came to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12).
“For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners…..” (Romans 5:19).
'Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker? (Job 4:17).
"Indeed, I know that this is true. But how can a mortal be righteous before God?” (Job 9:2).
"How then can a man be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure?" (Job 25:4).
"All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even
one" (Psalms 14:3).
"Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me" (Psalms 51:5).
“Everyone has turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not
even one” (Psalm 53:3).
"....for no one living is righteous before you" (Psalms 143:2).
"Who can say, "I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin"? (Proverbs 20:9).
"There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins" (Ecclesiastes 7:20).
"For we are ALL as an unclean thing....." (Isaiah 64:6).
Here’s another example to give you an illustration. Let’s just say you were guilty of
terrible crimes in a civil court and said to the judge, “Judge, I am guilty, but I believe
that you are a good man and will therefore overlook my crimes”. The judge would
probably respond by saying, “You are right about one thing; I am a good man, and
it’s because of my goodness that I am going to see that justice is done, that you
are punished for your crimes”. The very thing that many are hoping will save them on
Judgment Day, God’s goodness, will be the very thing that will condemn them.
If God is truly good and just, He must punish liars, murderers, rapists, thieves,
adulterers, fornicators, drunkards, blasphemers, and those who have lived in rebellion to
God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Revelation 21:8). God cannot allow sin to go unpunished! The
penalty for sinning against God is eternity in Hell. Many people have their own belief as
to what Hell is and what it is like. Such beliefs are influenced by religious teachings,
books, internet, social media, and movies. However, the truth about Hell can only be
found in the Bible. The Bible reveals it to be a literal place and not some place of human
imagination nor is it a scare tactic (to coerce or manipulate people). It was prepared
originally for the devil and his angels who rebelled against God in eternity past (Matthew
25:41) but is now the place where the souls of the wicked will also go to be punished
also! God created Hell for that very purpose.
Apologist Robin Schumacher States The Main Purposes Of Hell:
1. God’s Justice Demands It- Not all evil is punished in this life (on earth).
2. God’s Perfect Love Demands It- God cannot force people to love Him. He allows separation.
3. God’s Sovereignty Demands It- Without His Sovereignty, there will be no final victory over evil.
4. Human Depravity Demands It- Only punishment for sin against an eternal God is eternal punishment.
5. Human Dignity Demands It- Freedom to choose God or not (i.e. free will)
6. The Cross of Christ Demands It- Why would Christ suffer for people if there is not an unthinkable
punishment (we will emphasize on that later)?
Here are some misconceptions of Hell out there in the world:
•Hell is not a bad place to go as others make it to believe. It is where the wicked unite and party forever!
•The Devil owns Hell and he can take or drag the souls of men (who made a pact with him in this life) down there whenever he
likes.
•Hell is a place where the Devil and his demons reside and reign. They are given free reign to torment and cause pain upon the
souls of the wicked.
•Hell is a place where the wicked will be temporarily punished and purged from their sins and will ultimately go to Heaven
afterwards.
•Hell is place of rebirth resulting from unresolved karmic actions in life. (Note: karma is the sum of a person's actions in this life
(whether good or bad) and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences).
•The wicked in Hell will be given punishments that match the sins they’ve committed in this life.
•Hell is a state of mind caused by attachment to things other than God.
•God will not let “good people” go to Hell! It is only reserved to punish evil people!
•God is too loving to send anyone to Hell! No one deserves to go to there!
•We are experiencing Hell right now on earth with all the evil things happening around the world!
•Jesus’ death on the cross was not sufficient enough for salvation! Therefore, He had to suffer in Hell where he was tormented by
the devil and his demons!
•Jesus described Hell as a metaphorical place and not a literal one!
•Hell is a place where the soul ceases to exist!
•No one goes to Hell immediately after they die! The souls of the dead live on as ghosts and must resolve their unfinished
business on earth before moving on.
Such misconceptions of Hell are not only unbiblical but are totally bizarre (heretical to say the least). Hell should not be taken
lightly and neither should we believe in these misconceptions that contradict what the Bible says about it. The suffering in Hell
will be beyond anything humanly imaginable! It is not a good place for anyone to go and God doesn't take pleasure in the death of
the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23; 32; Ezekiel 33:11). You may say to yourself, “If Hell is none of those beliefs mentioned above, then
what is Hell and what is it like?”
Hell is considered in the Bible to be a real place located below the earth. It is a place of:
• Everlasting fire (Matthew18:8, Matthew 25:41).
• Everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46).
• Everlasting chains (Jude 1:6).
• Everlasting destruction (Matthew 7:13; 2 Thessalonians 1:9).
• Eternal damnation (Mark 3:29).
• Eternal judgment (Hebrews 6:2).
• Eternal fire (Jude 1:7).
• Fiery Furnace (Matthew 13:42).
• Eternal Condemnation (Matthew 12:36-37).
• Unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:12).
• Lake of Fiery/Burning Sulfur (Revelation 19:20).
• The Second Death (Revelation 2:11; Revelation 20:6; 14-15).
• Shame and everlasting contempt (Daniel 12:2).
• The blackness of darkness forever (2 Peter 2:17; Jude 1:13).
Hell will be a place where the invidivual will experience:
•Gnashing of teeth (grinding one’s teeth together-Matthew 13:50).
•Darkness (Matthew 25:30).
•Flames (Luke 16:24).
•Both soul and body will be burning forever (Isaiah 33:14; Matthew
10:28).
•Eternal conscious torment (Luke 16:23).
•Eternal suffering and agony (Luke 16:24).
•No way of escape (Luke 16:26).
•No pity/mercy from God (Luke 16:24).
•No second chances (Luke 16:25).
•Eternal loneliness (Luke 16:22-23).
•No comfort (Luke 16:25).
•Thirst unquenched (Luke 16:24).
•Eternal regret of taking life for granted (Luke 16:25)
•Eternal separation from God’s holy presence
(Matthew 7:21-23; Matthew 25:41; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9).
•Everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46).
•No way of warning others of that terrible place
(Luke 16:27-31)
The Bible pretty much describes Hell to be a horrific place for the wicked and should be avoided at all costs.
However, some take Hell lightly by mocking it or thinking it’s not such a bad place to go. Yet, the suffering in Hell
will be beyond anything humanly imaginable! It is not a good place for anyone to go and God doesn't take pleasure
in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23; 32; Ezekiel 33:11).
Many think God is unfair and unloving because He sends people there for not believing yet the truth of the matter
is people send themselves there because they didn’t want Him in the first place. They chose to refuse or admit they
are sinners, they refuse to repent of their sins, they refuse to acknowledge their need of a Savior (Jesus) for the
forgiveness of their sins, and refuse to be under the authority and Lordship of Christ in their lives (Hebrews 10:29).
This individual who has a rebellious attitude towards God in this life will also have that same attitude towards God
in Hell (Luke 16:19-25). God, being loving, will give that person what they have asked for! That is eternal separation
from His presence (Hell). For a loving God grants them freedom to choose, even if that person rejects Him. If
there’s no repentance and faith, sin still remains in that person and therefore they will spend eternity in Hell
paying for their sins! However, sin is judged so severely because you sinned against a Holy God who gave you the
breath of life, who brought you into this world, who fearfully and wonderfully made you, who provided for you your
daily provisions in life, who has given you good health in your body, who let you experience good and bad days in
life, who has blessed you with all the things you have in your possession (both in the past and present), who gave
you things in life to enjoy, who gave you friends and family to love and to be loved, who gave you a mind to fill it
with knowledge, who gave you hands to touch and feel things, who gave you feet to walk on this earth and have
your being, who gave you eyes to witness His marvelous works in creation, who gave you a nose to smell good and
pleasant things, who gave you a mouth to speak, eat, and drink, who gave you a mind to think logically, who gave
you a conscious to know right from wrong, and who gave you an entire life to repent. To sum it all up, He created
you and brought you into this world for the sole purpose of knowing, loving, and worshipping Him.
Perhaps you may think it's too harsh or unfair that God would send someone there. You may say to yourself, “why
would God punish someone for all eternity for a temporary sin such as stealing”? However, God’s ways and
thoughts are not like ours (Isaiah 55:8; Psalm 50:21). In fact, There are two problems with this statement. First,
God is just and that He never equivalates the proper punishment by the amount of time that sin was committed.
For example, if you were to rob a bank in 15 minutes but get caught in the act of that crime, the justice system will
not sentence you to 15 minutes in jail but will give you a longer sentence to punish you. Second, it doesn’t matter
how small or big the sin was! What matters is the One of whom you have sinned against (God)! You may say, “Aren’t
all sin the same”? Yes and No! Yes, all sin is sin (because sin is transgression of His commandments) as it is both
equally wrong, sinful, and condemns the person who commits it. However, every sin carries different degrees of
punishment and consequences to them (both here and the afterlife). But even if you commit one sin, you are guilty
of violating all of His commandments (James 2:10)! That’s how severe sin is! One sin is an eternal crime to Him
worthy of eternal punishment! Because God is infinite and sin must be punished infinitely! This makes man who is
finite unable to pay for his/her sin through his/her good works (which are finite) because his/her righteousness
doesn’t have infinite value to a Holy and Righteous God! Therefore, God will not accept such bribe that is filthy,
corrupt, and sinful (Deuteronomy 10:17)! He will not pervert justice and will not go against His perfect, holy, and
righteous character! Good works will not help you escape judgment because the Law has already been broken.
Although we deserve to "...be punished with everlasting destruction..." (2 Thessalonians 1:9), God made a way that we could be
absolutely forgiven and reconciled back to Him. This is the Gospel: He sent His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who is both truly
man and truly God, who was born of a virgin named Mary, who became the sin-bearer for sinful men, who became a perfect and
sinless sacrifice to atone (to both cover and take away) for our sins, who came to destroy the works of the devil, and took the
divine punishment (that is God’s wrath against sin) we justly deserve upon the cross. After He was physically bruised, beaten,
crucified and then buried, He physically rose from the dead with a resurrected and glorified body (which no man has ever done
or ever seen before). "...Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again
the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). His resurrection proved that He is God and He has the power
to conquer death, sin, and the devil. He obeyed every command of His Father perfectly. He fulfilled all righteousness that the
Law required (Matthew 3:15; John 19:30; Romans 10:4). He is the only good person who ever lived a perfect and sinless life and
He was the only one that the Father was pleased with! He imputes His righteousness unto those who believe in an exchange for
their sins (i.e. the Great Exchange-2 Corinthians 5:21). Christian Hip Hop Rapper Timothy Brindle said it best this way in one
of his songs (All sufficiency of Christ), “But because of Jesus’ bleeding gasping, Now before God my sin’s completely absent! Cause
on that cross (Jesus), it was like my Hell! So now my righteousness is Christ Himself! Because of His blood spill (Jesus), Your
mountain of grace (God) done smothered my dung hill!” How true is this statement! Furthermore, while we were yet sinners
(Romans 5:8) and eternally in debt to God (sin was a debt), God paid that debt for us through Jesus (because man is finite and
that Jesus, who is God in the flesh, can only pay that eternal debt of sin). The debt has been paid in full (John 19:30-It is
finished!).
He paid it all with His life upon the cross and shed His precious blood for our sake. Below is the list of what the Blood of Jesus
and His sacrificial death did for sinners (like us):
1. His blood forgives all sins (Matthew 26:28; Hebrews 9:15-22).
2 His blood gives life to those who consume it (John 6:53).
3. His blood causes us to dwell in Christ and Him in us (John 6:56).
4. His blood is the means by which Jesus purchased the church (Acts 20:28).
5. His blood is the means by which Jesus becomes our atonement through faith (Romans 3:25).
6. His blood justifies us and saves us from God’s wrath (Romans 5:9).
7. His blood redeems us (redeem as in purchasing us who were slaves to sin-Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18–19; Revelation 5:9).
8. His blood brings those who were far away from God near to Him (Ephesians 2:13).
9. His blood grants us the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:14).
10. His blood brings peace and reconciliation with God (Colossians 1:20).
11. His blood has “obtained eternal redemption” for us (Hebrews 9:12).
12. His blood cleanses our consciences from “dead works” to serve the living God (Hebrews 9:14).
13. His blood is the means by which we enter the Most Holy Place with boldness (Hebrews 10:19).
14. His blood “speaks a better word than the blood of Abel” (Hebrews 12:24).
15. His blood sanctifies us (Hebrews 13:12).
16. His blood makes us complete for “every good work” (Hebrews 13:20–21).
17. His blood “cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
18. His blood bears witness that He (Jesus) came in the flesh along with the Holy Spirit and the water (1 John 5:8).
19. His blood is the means by which Jesus washes us (Revelation 1:5; Revelation 7:14).
20. His blood is the means by which we overcome the accuser of the brethren
(The Devil is the accuser-Revelation 12:10–11).
21. His blood frees us from our sins (Revelation 1:5).
22. His death redeemed us from the curse of the Law (Galatians 3:13).
23. His death takes away the sins of the world (world referring to all people-John 1:29).
24. His death triumphed over the devil and his demons and made a public spectacle out of them (Colossians 2:15)
25. His death ushered in the New Covenant (Hebrews 7:22; Hebrews 9:15-22; Hebrews 8:6) as God promised (Ezekiel 36:26-27; Jeremiah
31:31; 33). Therefore, the old covenant has passed.
26. His death gives marriage (between a man/husband and woman/wife) a profound and deeper meaning (Ephesians 5:25).
27. His death demonstrated the ultimate act of sacrificial love, surrender, and humility (Philippians 2:1-11).
28. His death demonstrated how much God loved us even when we were sinners (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).
29. His death demonstrated how much He loved sinners (Galatians 2:20; Matthew 20:28).
30. His death frees us from condemnation (Romans 8:1).
31. His death brought eternal life (John 17:3; John 3:16; 1 John 5:20; 1 John 1:2; 1 John 5:13; John 20:31).
32. His death proved He only had to suffer once and for all (Hebrews 9:28; Romans 6:10). His death was an eternal sacrifice for sin!
33. His death secures our resurrection from the dead (Romans 6:5; Romans 8:11; 2 Timothy 2:11)
34. His death is one of the three main points of the Gospel and it unleashes the power of God unto salvation to those who believe (1
Corinthians 15:3-4).
35. His death overcame the sufferings and trials of this life through joy and hope in God (Hebrews 12:2).
36. His death modeled for us to deny self, take up our crosses, and follow Him (Matthew 16:24-28; Matthew 10:38-40;
Mark 8:34-38; Luke 14:27).
37. His death brought the Old Testament Priesthood to an End and Become the Eternal High Priest on our behalf (Hebrews 7:23-27;
Hebrews 9:24-26; Hebrews 10:11-12).
38. His death led Him to become a Sympathetic and Helpful Priest on our behalf (Hebrews 4:15-16).
39. His death frees us from the bondage to the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14-15).
40. His death indicates that we would be with Him immediately in Heaven after we die
(2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 2:21-23; 1 Thessalonians 5:10).
With all that being said, stop trying to work and earn your salvation and start placing your faith solely in what Christ did for you (that is dying
on the cross and shedding His blood for you)! It’s not what you must do (good works), but what Christ has done for you (His work on the cross
has been finished for our salvation)! The response to the amazing Gospel is this: Repentance and Faith in Christ Alone.
Repentance is a "change of mind". It is both turning (stopping and going in a new direction) and renouncing from your sinful ways (that is
departing from every kind of evil) and hating to commit them again. So turn away from lying, lusting, blaspheming, coveting, stealing,
idolatry, adultery, murder, fornicating, and/or any other sin(s) that has put you in spiritual bondage throughout your entire life. Repentance
always precedes faith!
Faith is both believing and trusting in Jesus Christ alone to save you because "....salvation is of the Lord" (Jonah 2:9). There is no other name
that can save you! Not Muhammad, not Mary, not Moses, not Abraham, not Peter, not Paul, not Ghandhi, not the Pope, not any Catholic nun or
priest both living and dead who are highly esteemed by the Catholic church, not Moroni, not Joseph Smith (founder of Mormonism), not the
President or any governmental official, not Ellen G. White (founder of Seventh Day Adventist), not Charles Taze Russell (founder of Jehovah’s
Witnesses), not Albert Pike (33rd Degree Mason who is highly esteemed by the Free-Masons), not your parents, not Buddha, not Maitreya (New
Age), not Krishna or any other Hindu god, and etc (Acts 4:12). Make sure that you trust in the right Jesus! You cannot be saved through the
Jesus of Islam, the Jesus of the Jehovah’s Witness, the Jesus of the Mormons (Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), the Jesus of Roman
Catholicism, or the Jesus of Universal Unitarianism, Jesus of the Woke Culture or Progressive Christianity and etc. The only Jesus to trust in is
the Jesus of the Bible and not the Jesuses portrayed in cults and false world religions (for they deny the humanity and deity of Jesus)! Jesus
Christ of the Bible is the way, the truth, and the life and no man can come to the Father but by Him alone (John 14:6). Anything that
contradicts the Jesus of the Bible is another gospel and is another Jesus (Galatians 1:8-9; 2 Corinthians 11:4).
If someone chooses not to repent and place their faith in Christ, the wrath of God abides in them (John 3:36) and they will die in
their sin (John 8:24). When they die, they will immediately end up in Hell for all eternity for rejecting Christ as Lord and Savior
(Luke 16:22)! They will face God on Judgment Day and will give an account for their lives on earth (Great White Throne Judgment-
Revelation 20:11-15).
If someone truly repents and receives Christ by faith, they will have new affections and desires in wanting to serve Him, obey His
commands, and live a holy and righteous life pleasing to Him. This is the result of being saved! It is a solid evidence of a changed
life (in Christ)--not to become saved. The root of salvation is in Christ alone and the fruit of salvation is a changed life! It’s not
because one works in order to be saved, it’s one who works because he/she is saved. Therefore, Faith is a Godward Condition of
Salvation while good works (through a changed life) is the Man-ward Evidence of Salvation. Eternal life and grace is a free gift of
God. Salvation is achieved by Christ’s atonement, not by our own attainment.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no
one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
God will save you and He will transform you. Don’t think you have to get your act together or come clean before you come to
Christ! Christ will accept you the way that you are! However, He won’t let you stay as you are! He will change you from who you
once were to what He wants you to become (that is conforming to His image)! He accepts all who humbly come to Him to be saved
from their sins and He will forgive them all (past, present, and future)! He will change you from the inside and out! He will give
you His Holy Spirit (who will reside in you) upon conversion to lead and guide you to live out the Christian life (Ephesians 1:13;
Galatians 3:14). His Spirit will forever be with you (John 14:16). "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such
there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23).
After God has saved and changed you, read, study, obey, and meditate on the Bible daily.
"As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2). Find a sound biblical church that
doesn't hold fast to man-made traditions but holds fast to the Bible as the divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, sufficient, and
authoritative Word of God! Test the pastor to see if he preaches Christ crucified (nothing else) and join in fellowship with other
believers who love and endure sound doctrine, who can guide and disciple you to spiritually mature in your personal walk and
faith in the Lord. When given an opportunity by God, be sure to share your faith in Christ with others and be prepared to give a
man an answer to the hope that lies in you (Colossians 4:16; 1 Peter 3:15-16). Do it gently and lovingly so they may not think of
you as unloving and condemning. Remember that you will be faced with rejection and opposition so be patient when you share it
with others. It takes time (may take even years) so trust and pray that God will convict them of the truth and accept His free gift
of salvation and grace in Jesus Christ. You’re only there to plant and water the seed (which is the Word of God) in the hearts of
others and God alone determines the growth (converts the heart-1 Corinthians 3:7). Once a believer dies, he/she will be
immediately in the presence of the Lord Jesus in Heaven (2 Corinthians 5:6-8). His/her sin will not be judged against Him as the
Lord Jesus has already judged it upon the cross (when He died and shed His blood). However, believers will be judged according to
their service to Christ and be given rewards in Heaven (The Bema Seat of Christ-1 Corinthians 3:11-15).
With all that being said, It is through Repentance and Faith in Jesus Christ alone that gives us a way to Heaven! Through Christ
alone, we are good enough to go to Heaven! Not based on our righteousness but the righteousness of Christ! Not based on what we
do, but what Christ did for us! We are saved by grace alone through faith alone, in Christ alone! Heaven is the destination for
those who believe and He is the ultimate reward in Heaven! Heaven without God is not truly Heaven! Since we have already
mentioned about Hell earlier, what about Heaven, you say? What’s that going to be like?
WHAT WILL HEAVEN BE LIKE?
• In Heaven, evil and sin doesn’t exist!
• In Heaven, we will have an imperishable (not to decay in age or sickness again), unblemished (no defects or abnormalities), and incorruptible (we will
never be corrupted or affected by sin) body other than the body we have now on earth. God will make it eternal so that it may withstand eternity. This
will be the promise to all who come in faith in Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)!
• In Heaven, there will be no sin, death, suffering, curse, or pain (Revelation 21:4; Revelation 22:3). We will never do anything to displease God. There
will be no persecution, division, disunity, or hate.
• In Heaven, there will be no more sea (Revelation 21:1) and no more night (Revelation 22:5).
• In Heaven, there will be no quarrels or disagreements. There will be no disappointments. There will be no weeping because there will be nothing to make
us sad (Revelation 7:17).
• In Heaven, we will be surprised and amazed at Jesus’ appearance. Since Scripture never revealed how He looked like, all believers anticipate meeting
Jesus face to face in Heaven. Not only that, but God the Father will also dwell with us forever.
• We will then know perfect pleasure. Psalms 16:11 says, "In Your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore". Everything
that now makes us groan will finally be done away with, and we will find ourselves in the very presence of God, where the purest and truest kind of
pleasure is possible.
• In Heaven, we will also have perfect knowledge. Paul writes, "Then I shall know just as I also am known" (1 Cor. 13:12). We will have no more
unanswered questions, no confusion, no ignorance, and no more need to walk by faith rather than by sight.
• We will live in perfect comfort. We will never experience one uncomfortable moment up there.
• We will finally know perfect love. We will love God perfectly and will be loved perfectly by Him for all eternity. His love will engulf us forever. In Heaven,
we will only be worshipping and praising Him because He is a good and just God! We will no longer need faith and hope because love will forever exist in
Heaven.
• We will know everyone perfectly. We will know everyone in Heaven including saints of the Old Testament, New Testament, the angels in Heaven, etc.
• We will be perfectly judged and handsomely rewarded in Heaven. Since Christ judged our sin upon the cross once and for all, Christ will sit on His seat
(Bema/Judgment Seat of Christ) and will judge and reward us according to our works we’ve done in His name. The works that were worthless and vain
will be burnt up while the ones that had worth or value will remain. Whatever work that remains will be rewarded.
• In Heaven, we will also be perfectly serving and working the Lord just as the angels in Heaven do. We are not told specifically what that work looks like
in the Bible but whatever it is, we will be in a sinless and perfect environment rejoicing with absolute gladness. We cannot assume that the work we do
in Heaven will be the same work we do on earth.
• Although Heaven is the place up above this earthly realm, The New Jerusalem (the Holy City) will eventually come down from Heaven and be on the earth
(Revelation 21:2) after the consummation of all things. For God promised a New Heaven and New Earth. We will not only be reigning up in Heaven with
Christ but will reign with Him on the earth as well! Heaven and earth will be as one (not separated as it is now).
• We could summarize by saying that Heaven is a place of perfect joy. Think of it this way; we will finally be perfectly free from evil forever. We will never again
have a selfish desire or utter useless words. We will never perform another unkind deed or think a sinful thought. We will be perfectly liberated from our captivity
to sin, and finally able to do that which is absolutely righteous, holy, and perfect before God. With sin and its effects erased forever, it will be a life of
unimaginable blessing! In a nutshell, Heaven is a place of the "no mores"!
• Heaven is so great and indescribable that even the Apostle Paul was not commanded to speak about it when he was caught up into Heaven (either in the body or
out of the body-2 Corinthians 12:7).
To sum it all up:
Jesus made Heaven possible for all:
• Jesus (who is God) left His glory and reign in Heaven came down to earth
to take on human flesh (the doctrine of incarnation) and humbled Himself as a servant.
• He lived a sinless life (although He was tempted like us) and obeyed God’s righteous standard
perfectly (The Ten Commandments) on our behalf.
• He died in our place of punishment (as the wages of sin is death according to the Law)
appeasing God’s wrath against us and shed His innocent blood upon the cross to redeem and forgive us.
• After He died, He was then buried and resurrected from the dead on the Third Day
indicating He conquered death, the Devil, and sin.
• He did all of this so that whoever puts their faith in Him
will have eternal life and will be with Him in Heaven.
Heaven is reserved only for:
• Those who humble themselves to God (repentance and faith)
• Those who don’t trust in their good works but the finished work of Christ alone!
• Those who believe that Christ is the only way to God and Heaven in order to be saved!
• Those who feel they deserve more of Hell than Heaven!
• The righteous
Hell is reserved only for:
• Those who are proud and trust in their good works to save them!
• Those who love sin and continue to live in it!
• Those who deny and reject the work of Christ to be forgiven and redeemed!
• Those who deny and reject that salvation is in Christ alone!
Now that you know the Gospel, you have been warned! Confess and repent of your sins today (while you still
have time) and don't wait until tomorrow (Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:15; Acts 17:30)! Stop making
excuses for yourself such as these:
• I’m a member of a church! Therefore, I’m already saved!
• I’ve been baptized! Therefore, I’m already saved!
• I go to church so that makes me a Christian!
• I know God because I read the Bible!
• I don’t understand the Bible!
• I live by “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”!
• No thanks! I can save myself! I don’t need Him to save me!
• I believe in God and Jesus! Therefore, I’m already saved!
• I’m not religious but I’m spiritual!
• I need to clean up my life first then I’ll commit to God!
• I’m too busy with life! I don’t have time to commit!
• I just don’t know if I can make a commitment now!
• Let me get back with you on this matter!
• I know I’m not perfect but I’m not that bad!
• It’s too late for that! I’m too wicked of a sinner to be saved!
• Not now! I will come to Christ when I’m ready!
• Not interested! I love my life the way it is now!
• No thanks! I have my own religion that I believe in!
• I don’t need Christ to change me! I can change myself!
• Judge Not! So you have no right to judge me or other people!
• God is Love and He will never judge me! He accepts me the way that I am!
• I love God but I hate Christians!
• Nobody’s perfect! Everybody sins!
• Christians are hypocrites! I hate hypocrisy!
• I hate organized religion! Your religion kills people!
• Christianity is just for people trying to be or do good!
• I believe in Science only!
• I want a religion that is a good fit for me!
• I don’t read the Bible but I know God personally!
• I don’t want a God to tell me what to do!
• Everybody is going to Heaven!
• I want to live life to the fullest!
• It’s true for you but not true for me!
• How do you know if it’s true? What if you’re wrong?
• It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you’re sincere!
• Nobody is wrong and Nobody is right!
• No Thanks! I don’t want to give up everything to follow God!
• I need to see a miracle first!
• You’re just pressuring me to join a cult!
• You claim that your religion is right and all
the other religions are wrong!
• I’m not afraid to die! Not scared of death!
• I’ll be glad to go to Hell! If I go, I’ll go!
• You Christians have a problem with
everyone!
• My God would never send people to Hell!
• Your God is a tyrant and genocidal murderer!
• Your God is racist! He approves slavery!
• Your God is a homophobic! He hates
homosexuals!
• Your God hates and demeans women!
• Jesus never claimed to be God!
• Jesus never resurrected!
• Jesus never existed! He was made up!
• Everything you believe is a lie!
• I need to see Him in order to believe!
• There is no Heaven or Hell!
• There is no final judgment!
• There is no God!
• I tried Christianity but it didn’t work out for
me!
• There are many paths to God!
• I’m on a spiritual journey and still haven’t
found the truth to all of life’s questions!
• It doesn’t matter! In the end, God will save
everyone!
• I grew up in a Christian family with
Christian values!
• I use to be a Christian but now I’m a
____________!
• My religious parents were the reasons I
abandoned the Christian faith!
• No one can know God!
• Your religion is based on wishful thinking!
• I like Jesus as Savior not Lord over my life!
Stop playing Russian roulette with your life! Now is the time to do so!
You may never know that tomorrow will be too late for you to call upon Him as Lord and Savior!
“And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man”…… (Genesis 6:3).
Don't brag about tomorrow, since you don't know what the day will bring" (Proverbs 27:1).
"Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make
money. “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little
while and then vanishes" (James 4:13-14).
“The harvest is past, and the summer is ended, and we’re not saved” (Jeremiah 8:20).
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalms 90:12).
"Show me, O LORD, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life” (Psalms 39:4).
“How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation”….? (Hebrews 2:3).
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the Judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
Don’t delay your salvation. Tomorrow is not promised and next week may never come. Don’t take your time in this life for
granted! Life isn’t certain to God, but it is uncertain to us! We can’t outrun death, but we can run to God. Call upon Him now
while you still have time!
"For he says, "At the right time I heard you, and on a day of salvation I helped you." Listen, now is really the "right time"! Now is
the "day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2)!
"Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near" (Isaiah 55:6).
"....Today if you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts" (Hebrews 4:7).
"Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though
they are red like crimson, they will be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18).
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be
saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved“ (Romans 10:9-10).
Christ is the only way you can get to Heaven! He is the only one who can give you eternal life! It's His work
(the cross) and not ours that God is pleased with! Seek Him now and know Him as Lord and Savior, seek
Him later, you'll know Him as Judge!
Appendix: About The Sabbath
As some of you know, there were only nine of the Ten Commandments mentioned on this presentation. The reason why I left the
fourth commandment which reads, “Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy” out intentionally is to explain why this
commandment has been fulfilled and isn’t commanded for any Christian to observe. The Sabbath which means “rest” is the proper
name in Scripture for the 7th day of the week which corresponds to our Saturday. However, I will explain why I believe this
viewpoint for several reasons. Here are some of the reasons.
1. The Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15:28-29 ruled that the Gentiles (non-Jews) should observe certain rules but the command to
keep the Sabbath is not mentioned.
2. Nine out of the Ten Commandments are repeated and enforced in the New Testament except the Fourth Commandment which
states “Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy”.
3. In Mark 7:21-22, 13 sins are listed but Jesus didn’t mention breaking the Sabbath among them.
4. In Romans 1:29-30, 20 sins are listed and not one of them is Sabbath breaking.
5. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 10 sins are listed and Sabbath breaking is not one of them.
6. In Galatians 5:19-21, a list of 15 sins are given and Sabbath breaking is not one of them.
7. In 2 Timothy 3:1-4, there’s a list of 18 sins, but not once is Sabbath breaking mentioned.
8. Revelation 21:8 and Revelation 22:15, a total of 13 sins are mentioned and again Sabbath breaking is not mentioned among
them.
9. The mark of the beast is not worshiping on Sunday because the Catholic Church changed the original Sabbath day of Saturday
as some Seventh Day-Adventists teach (Revelation 13:17-18).
10.The Early Church observed Sunday because Jesus resurrected on the first day of the week which is Sunday.
11.The Sabbath was a sign for Israel who was under the First Covenant (The Mosaic Covenant-Exodus 33:13; Deuteronomy 5:2-3)
12.The Sabbath symbolized Christ who is the mediator of the New Covenant (The Everlasting Covenant).
13.Those who under the Sabbath-keeping are under a curse as Paul teaches in Galatians.
14.Those who keep the whole of the Law should also keep all the 613 commandments in the First Covenant which is the Mosaic
Covenant.
15.Man started to add various laws (just like the Pharisees did in Jesus’ time) making it very strict and impossible to keep the
Sabbath.
16.Jesus abolished the Sabbath on the cross so Christians aren’t obligated to keep the Sabbath.
17.Jesus kept the Law perfect and was Lord over the Sabbath
18.We’re under the Law of Christ, the Law of Liberty!
19.The rest of God is not a day, it is a state that we enter into through Jesus Christ (Hebrews 3:7-4:11)
20.The Sabbath was a shadow that pointed to Christ, the substance (Colossians 2:16-17)!
21.Those who accept Christ have accepted Christ as their Sabbath! Rest from their efforts/labors in earning their salvation. They
rest upon the finished work of Christ (It is finished)!
22.Sabbath was never mentioned to have a day nor a night in the beginning of creation. Hence, it was eternal and pointed to Christ
who is our eternal Sabbath rest.
23.The thief on the cross didn’t keep any of the commandments including the Sabbath. He recognized that He was a sinner who
needed a Savior and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ! For believing, He was accepted into Paradise!
24.The Philippian Jailer when he asked Paul and Silas in Acts, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved”? Paul didn’t say Remember the
Sabbath and keep it holy but rather he said unto the Philippian Jailer, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be
saved”……
25.Christ offers this His rest to all who labor and are heavy laden by religious works in Matthew 11:28-30.
Appendix: About The Sabbath (Continued)
26. When the rich young ruler asked Jesus, “how do I inherit eternal life”? Jesus mentions 9 of the 10 commandments and didn’t
mention Sabbath keeping. However, the problem that the rich young ruler had was coveting and Jesus pointed that out lastly.
27. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who preceded Israel and who were known as their fathers didn’t keep the Sabbath (Deuteronomy
5:2-3).
28. The only commandments that God gave to Adam and Eve were to keep or tend to the garden and not to eat of the Tree of the
Knowledge of Good and Evil in Genesis 2:5.
29. Work and labor only existed after Adam and Eve sinned in Genesis 3:19.
30. The Law didn’t come or wasn’t established until 430 years later after Abraham (Galatians 3:17).
31. When there was no Law, there was no transgression…… which meant Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob weren’t responsible for
Sabbath breaking or keeping.
32. Christ was chosen as the sacrificial lamb before the foundation of the world and before Sabbath was instituted (1 Peter 1:20-21
and 2 Timothy 1:9).
33. The Book of Genesis was written during the time of Moses, not before! Neither Adam or Abraham had the book of Genesis! God
revealed the Sabbath during the time when Israel was in the wilderness journey!
34. Christians only observe two ordinances: The Lord’s Supper and Baptism! No observance of Sabbath keeping.
35. Sabbath day keeping which is the righteousness of the law only nullifies Christ’s work on the cross and that He died in vain.
36. If Sabbath day keeping pleases God, then Christ’s work is meaningless?
37. The apostle Paul never kept the Sabbath during his missionary journeys! He only taught in the synagogues during the Sabbath
38. If Christians are called sun-worshippers because they worship on Sundays, then shouldn’t we call Sabbath keepers worshippers
of Saturn because they worship on Saturdays?
39. Everything that Scripture spoke of in the Old Testament was speaking of Him (John 5:39). That includes the Sabbath!
40. Jesus boldly claimed that He came to fulfill the Law.
41. During Christ’s post-resurrection, two disciples of Christ on the road to Emmaus were instructed by Christ (before He
revealed Himself to them) concerning the Scriptures which pointed to Him! From what we read in Luke 24:27, He started from the
book of Moses and all the Prophets! Once again, what Moses and the prophets wrote concerned the Sabbath which is a foreshadow
of Christ!
42. Before Cornelius was converted, it only stated that He feared God and prayed to God always! Although being a Gentile, it never
stated that he kept the Sabbath! Even after the Sabbath!
43. Why is baptism observed more than the Sabbath?
44. The Early Church were commanded by Paul to collect offerings on Sundays (the first of the week) in 1 Corinthians 16:1-4. It
doesn’t even mention the Sabbath day!
45. Jesus rose on Sunday, the first of the week, and not on the Sabbath in Mark 16:9.
46. The disciples of Jesus assembled three times on Sunday, the first of the week, before and after Jesus’ resurrection, never on
the Sabbath (John 20:19; John 20:16; Acts 2:1).
47. The sign that Jesus was glorified was given on Sunday (John 7:39; Acts 2:1; Acts 3:2).
48. The Holy Spirit fell upon the disciples on the Day of Pentecost which fell on a Sunday (Acts 2:1-4).
49. The birth of the Church was on the Day of Pentecost which is Sunday (Acts 2:1).
50. Jesus had communion after His resurrection with His disciples was on Sunday (Luke 24:1; 13; 28-35).
51. In Matthew 28:19-20, why did Jesus commission His disciples as well as us Christians today to go out unto all the nations and
make disciples and teach them to observe all that He commanded and baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit? Yet in all of Christ’s teachings which we must teach those to observe, never did He say to keep the Sabbath!
Appendix: About The Sabbath (Continued)
52. Sabbath keeping only leads one back into the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:9-10).
53. When Nicodemus came to visit Jesus in the night in John 3, Jesus never mentioned that he had to keep the Sabbath but He
needed to be born again.
54. When the crowd of 5,000 asked Jesus, “what work does God require us to do”? Yet Jesus replied that the work that God
requires is that they believe in Him Whom He has sent (speaking of Himself). There is no mention of Sabbath keeping.
55. Sabbath keeping is a work that contradicts Ephesians 2:8-9 that we’re saved by grace through faith and not of works lest any
man should boast.
56. Those who keep the Sabbath become a stumbling block to other Christians (even to baby Christians-1 Corinthians 8:9).
57. Sabbath keeping was part of the Law which was a curse. Yet, Jesus became a curse for us to redeem us from the Law (Galatians
3:13).
58. The Sabbath was made for man not man for Sabbath (Mark 2:27). Jesus was reinstating the principle that the Sabbath was
instituted to relieve man from his labors, just as He came to relieve man from attempting to achieve salvation through works.
59. Sabbath keeping which is part of the Law can never make one perfect.
60. Keeping the Sabbath doesn’t save you. If you’re not blood bought, there is no remission (forgiveness) of sins.
61. Even though most Christians worship on Sunday and consider it to be the Sabbath, we should remember that there is no day
that we need to esteem. Christ is the Sabbath to Christians.
62. Christians are dead to the Law which includes Sabbath keeping (Romans 7).
63. The Sabbath was not given to the Church as a sign.
64. Sabbath keeping leads to fear and judgment.
65. Although God rested on the Seventh Day in Genesis 2:1, we learn in the four gospels through Christ that God never stopped
working (John 5:17). Yet God finished the work which was man’s salvation in Christ (John 19:30).
66. The Sabbath was never commanded other nations in the Old Testament to observe the Sabbath.
67. The Law and the prophets (which includes Sabbath) were until John and beyond that time the Gospel of the Kingdom was being
preached (Luke 16:16).
68. Noah never kept the Sabbath because the Law was never given then. It was only given to Moses.
69. Joseph never kept the Sabbath because the Law was never given during his time in Egypt and even when the Israelites were in
Egyptian bondage for 400 years.
70. Sabbath was never changed! It was abolished by Christ Himself!
71. When Jesus spoke the Sermon on the Mount, He never mentioned the hearers to keep the Sabbath!
72. If Christians who don’t keep the Sabbath, how come Sabbath keepers don’t stone them according to the death penalty of
Sabbath breakers?
73. Sabbath keepers break their own rules which is punishable by death since they live under the Law
74. The priests in the Old Testament were allowed to profane the Sabbath (Numbers 28:9-10; Matthew 12:5). In fact, their whole
life was dedicated in serving God.
75. Sabbath keepers state that Constantine changed the Sabbath to Sunday but the Early Church had long been observing Sunday.
76. Why was there no protest recorded in history to this supposed change made by Constantine?
78. Insisting Christians to observe the Sabbath day as Jews did, turns our minds away from the spiritual lessons it was meant to
teach us.
79. Christ abolished the enmity (the Law which includes the Sabbath) in His flesh (Ephesians 2:15).
80. Christ is the mediator of a better covenant than the old (which includes Sabbath keeping).
81. Christ shed His blood which is the blood of the New Testament. His blood washes away our sins and the Law that was against us
(which includes Sabbath keeping).
Appendix: About The Sabbath (Continued)
82. Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness (abolishing and fulfilling the Sabbath-Romans 10:4).
83. The Sabbath was not a moral Law but a ceremonial law.
84. Christians never copied Sunday worship from the religion of Mithraism as Sabbath Keepers argue.
85. The disciples of Christ kept the Sabbath because they didn’t understand that all of the Law of Moses (including
Sabbath keeping) would be abolished.
86. Since Christians who are under the New Testament/Covenant are a royal priesthood, aren’t we also exempt from
keeping the Sabbath?
87. Sabbath keepers believe that the seal of God is keeping the Sabbath. However, the Bible never makes mention that
Sabbath keeping is the seal of God.
88. If Sabbath keeping is the seal of God, isn’t the Holy Spirit the seal of God who seals us for the day of redemption?
89. Does Sabbath keeping make me more better than other Christians?
90. Sabbath keeping is not true rest! True rest comes through Christ alone who gives rest to our souls!
91. Does Sabbath keeping promises the Holy Spirit? I thought the Spirit is received through faith and not the works of
the Law (Galatians 3:2)!
92. Christ takes away the first covenant (the Law) and establishes the Second (the New covenant) in Hebrews 10:9.
93. The priesthood changed means there is made of necessity a change also of the Law (includes Sabbath keeping) in
Hebrews 7:12.
94. The Book of Hebrews speaks about everything in the Old Testament was the fulfillment of Christ. A book Sabbath
keepers need to read.
95. The Lord’s Supper/Communion was never taken on the Sabbath. There is no scripture support for it!
96. If Sabbath keeping is still enforced, then why did Jesus come in the first place?
97. Was Jesus’ mission successful in His mission to fulfill the Law which He made?
98. Sabbath keeping leads to idolatry! For Sabbath keepers, you have broken the third commandment and are guilty of
breaking all Ten Commandments.
99. Sabbath keeping frustrates the grace of God
100. Sabbath keeping causes one not to do good to those who are in need.
Don’t be deceived! Whoever tries to persuade you to keep the Sabbath because your salvation
depends upon it is not of God and is preaching another Gospel!

Are you good enough to go to Heaven.ppt

  • 1. Are you good enough to go to Heaven?
  • 2. Some may say the following statements about Heaven: "Nobody can know for sure that they are going to Heaven, right”? He accepts and loves everyone just the way they are”! WRONG! "If I try my best to do good in my life, won't God let me into heaven”? WRONG! "Well, I'm not as bad as a criminal or a murderer! I may not be perfect but I think I’m good enough to deserve Heaven"! WRONG!
  • 3. To presume that what you have been taught all your life must be true without proving it to be true is the epitome of foolishness. Your soul is the only possession you have that has eternal value! God has placed eternity in all the hearts of men (Ecclesiastes 3:11). How do we know that? For starters, every person on the planet knows that all will die someday. Every person on the planet has both an obsession of the afterlife (that is life beyond the grave) and the constant fear of death (Hebrews 2:15). Death is inevitable for the living as there is no way we can escape or cheat death (Ecclesiastes 9:2; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22). Every person on the planet knows that you cannot take anything with you once you die. That means your spouse, children, house, cars, money, possessions, beauty, health, etc. will all be left behind or can be easily taken from you in an instant. Nobody can, ever have, or ever will be able to possess these things forever in this life. The only thing that will be transferred over to the after life is your soul and will return to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). "For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it" (1 Timothy 6:7). “The Lord sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and exalts” (1 Samuel 2:7). "For he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendor will not descend with him" (Psalms 49:17). "Naked a man comes from his mother's womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand" (Ecclesiastes 5:15). “……..Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised” (Job 1:21). “Riches profit not in the day of wrath; but righteousness delivered from death” (Proverbs 11:4; Proverbs 10:2).
  • 4. The Bible makes it clear that there is no such thing as annihilation (the soul ceases to exist in the afterlife), purgatory (a place in the afterlife that where people get their sins purge before entering Heaven), reincarnation (coming back to the world as a form of another person, plant, or an animal), or a soul having unfinished business on earth (that is a soul lingering upon the face of the earth if he/she died tragically), or a second chance in the afterlife (universalism). Once we die, our soul belongs to God who gave it in the first place (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Ezekiel 18:4). It is solely up to God who judges our earthly life and determines where we will spend eternity; either being eternally present with Him in Heaven or eternally separated from His presence in Hell (Luke 16:19-31). Do not trust in what man tells you (Isaiah 2:22). What does God have to say about salvation and going to Heaven? That’s what’s important! He has the final word! Let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4). This leads me to the point of this message, Are you good enough to go to there? Let’s see if you’re good enough to go there? Keep in mind, there will be a number of questions on the following slides so please be honest with your answers! Good Luck!
  • 5. Your soul, however, lives on forever! There is no such thing found in the Scriptures that teaches annihilation (the soul ceases to exist in the afterlife), purgatory (a place in the afterlife that where people get their sins purge before entering Heaven), reincarnation (coming back to the world as a form of another person, plant, or an animal), or a soul having unfinished business on earth (that is a soul lingering upon the face of the earth if he/she died tragically). Once we die, our soul belongs to God who gave it in the first place (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Ezekiel 18:4). It is up to God who judges our earthly life and determines where we will spend eternity; either being eternally present with Him in Heaven or eternally separated from His presence in Hell (Luke 16:19-31). Do not take your chances! Do not trust in what man tells you (Isaiah 2:22). What does God have to say about salvation and going to Heaven? That’s what’s important! DO YOU REALLY WORSHIP AND LOVE GOD? OR DO YOU LOVE AND WORSHIP IDOLS? HAVE YOU TAKEN THE LORD’S NAME IN VAIN? Have you ever made an oath in the name of God or Jesus but only to find yourself breaking that oath? Have you ever used the name of God or Jesus as a filthy and profane word? Have you ever took the name of God or Jesus lightly? Ever used their names for a silly joke or to simply mock it? Do you call yourself a Christian or claim to be one yet you don’t act, think, speak and live like one? Rather, you act, think, speak, and live your life like the world? Have you used the name of God or Jesus to justify your actions? For example, ever used their names to justify your sin and claim that He wants you to be happy and or that He accepts you for who you are? Have you ever used the name of God or Jesus for selfish gain? Like taking advantage or exploiting others and claiming you were doing it for the name of God or Jesus?

Do not take your chances! Do not trust in what man tells you (Isaiah 2:22). What does God have to say about salvation and going to Heaven? That’s what’s important! You’re probably wondering why I asked you all these questions and may think I’ve been a bit extreme, but in my own words, I have brought you to know God’s moral Law, the Ten Commandments! So, how did you do? Did you pass the test? Were you honest with all your answers? Can you honestly admit you’ve kept all that God required? Let’s be honest, we all have broken the Ten Commandments (including myself). No one is exempted and no one is perfect! However, let’s just say if you were to die now, and if God were to judge you based on the Ten Commandments on Judgment Day, do you think you will be declared innocent or guilty? When you compare yourself to other people, you may think of yourself as a good person. However, comparing yourself to other people doesn’t mean nothing to God. You can justify yourself saying you’re not as evil as a murderer or a rapist but that is not going to change God’s mind about you. In fact, God is not going to measure you up with other wicked people and neither is He going to let you off the hook! He is going to be righteous and just and will measure you according to His commandments (His Law)! We will all face Him and will be judged based on God's standard (the Ten Commandments) of righteousness, not our own. In the end, it doesn’t matter what you say or do, it’s what God says that matters! Breaking God’s commandment is called sin (1 John 3:4). One esteemed pastor by the name of John Piper defined sin as: • The glory of God not honored.

Do not take your chances! Do not trust in what man tells you (Isaiah 2:22). What does God have to say about salvation and going to Heaven? That’s what’s important! The Ten Commandments reflect God's standard of holiness for everyone. Since God is the divine supreme authority of moral conduct, all of humanity is subject to His standards (regardless of who they are, where they live, and what age they lived in). According to the Bible, no one is exempt from God's Law (Romans 3:19). Some say that the Ten Commandments do not apply to them, since they did not grow up with "religion”. However, the Bible reveals that the requirements of the Law are written on our hearts with or without it (Romans 2:25). God created the Ten Commandments to reveal that the hearts of men are exceedingly sinful and no one can ever live up to His standards of perfection (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7). However, there are many who lower His standards and His nature by claiming He outweighs the good over the evil that we commit. There are also many who live out their own moral standards by defining what’s good and what’s evil. There are others who try to adhere to God’s standards so that they can earn both their salvation and His approval. And yet, there are even some people who appeal to a moral standard of conduct that they themselves don’t live up to. Regardless of what man believes or does, God rejects all human righteousness because it contradicts His Law and His nature. Why? He rejects it for many reasons: • Human righteousness is external; you may be able to change your actions but you cannot change your heart (only God can change and judges the intentions of the heart). • Human righteousness steals the glory of God and glorifies man. It draws attention only to you for all the good things you’ve done and gives you the right to boast. • Human righteousness results in looking down upon others. It often condemns and makes you superior, more holier, and more saint-like than the rest! It leads to wrong comparison of judging others more than judging ourselves. • Human righteousness will always lead to guilt. It tends to make people feel guilty of not doing enough good works to earn their salvation. • Human righteousness is like filthy rags to Him! Can you think of anything that is vile, sick, dirty, corrupt, filthy, and putrid on earth? Well…… That’s how God views human righteousness apart from His righteousness! • Human righteousness cannot pay for your past, present, and future sins. No matter how much good you do, it will never be able to cover and take away sins. This can lead people into thinking they can lose their salvation if they don’t keep up with their good works (which leads to uncertainty). • Human righteousness doesn’t lead to humility and repentance! It leads only to arrogance and pride! • Human righteousness results in self-deception! You become “like God”! You decide what’s acceptable and right in your own eyes! Consider this: How good do I have to be? Is there a cut off point that determines you’ve earned Heaven? • Human righteousness is of the Devil! The Devil likes to deceive people to think there’s another way to reach God and that is by their good works! • Human righteousness refuses the provision that God has already provided since the foundation of the world through the work and person of the Savior Jesus Christ (which we will emphasize later)!

There are many who make the mistake of thinking they will get into Heaven because of their good works they have done or simply believe they are morally good. Sadly, that wouldn't make a person justified in God's sight. The Bible says otherwise: "......and all of our righteousness (that is good works) are as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6). "For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not toward God" (Romans 4:2). "Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness" (Romans 10:3). "I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly”. (Galatians 2:21). They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good” (Titus 1:16). “He said to them, "You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight” (Luke 16:15).

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12). "All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one" (Psalms 14:3). "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me" (Psalms 51:5). “Everyone has turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one” (Psalm 53:3).
  • 18. Here’s another example to give you an illustration. Let’s just say you were guilty of terrible crimes in a civil court and said to the judge, “Judge, I am guilty, but I believe that you are a good man and will therefore overlook my crimes”. The judge would probably respond by saying, “You are right about one thing; I am a good man, and it’s because of my goodness that I am going to see that justice is done, that you are punished for your crimes”. The very thing that many are hoping will save them on Judgment Day, God’s goodness, will be the very thing that will condemn them. If God is truly good and just, He must punish liars, murderers, rapists, thieves, adulterers, fornicators, drunkards, blasphemers, and those who have lived in rebellion to God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Revelation 21:8). God cannot allow sin to go unpunished! The penalty for sinning against God is eternity in Hell. Many people have their own belief as to what Hell is and what it is like. Such beliefs are influenced by religious teachings, books, internet, social media, and movies. However, the truth about Hell can only be found in the Bible. The Bible reveals it to be a literal place and not some place of human imagination nor is it a scare tactic (to coerce or manipulate people). It was prepared originally for the devil and his angels who rebelled against God in eternity past (Matthew 25:41) but is now the place where the souls of the wicked will also go to be punished also! God created Hell for that very purpose. Apologist Robin Schumacher States The Main Purposes Of Hell: 1. 5. Human Dignity Demands It- Freedom to choose God or not (i.e. free will) 6. The Cross of Christ Demands It- Why would Christ suffer for people if there is not an unthinkable punishment (we will emphasize on that later)?
  • 19. Here are some misconceptions of Hell out there in the world: •Hell is not a bad place to go as others make it to believe. It is where the wicked unite and party forever! •The Devil owns Hell and he can take or drag the souls of men (who made a pact with him in this life) down there whenever he likes. •Hell is a place where the Devil and his demons reside and reign. They are given free reign to torment and cause pain upon the souls of the wicked. •Hell is a place where the wicked will be temporarily punished and purged from their sins and will ultimately go to Heaven afterwards. •Hell is place of rebirth resulting from unresolved karmic actions in life. (Note: karma is the sum of a person's actions in this life (whether good or bad) and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences). Therefore, He had to suffer in Hell where he was tormented by the devil and his demons! •Jesus described Hell as a metaphorical place and not a literal one! •Hell is a place where the soul ceases to exist! •No one goes to Hell immediately after they die! The souls of the dead live on as ghosts and must resolve their unfinished business on earth before moving on. Such misconceptions of Hell are not only unbiblical but are totally bizarre (heretical to say the least). Hell should not be taken lightly and neither should we believe in these misconceptions that contradict what the Bible says about it. The suffering in Hell will be beyond anything humanly imaginable! It is not a good place for anyone to go and God doesn't take pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23; 32; Ezekiel 33:11). You may say to yourself, “If Hell is none of those beliefs mentioned above, then what is Hell and what is it like?”
  • 20. Hell is considered in the Bible to be a real place located below the earth. It is a place of: • Everlasting fire (Matthew18:8, Matthew 25:41). • Everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46). • Everlasting chains (Jude 1:6). • Everlasting destruction (Matthew 7:13; 2 Thessalonians 1:9). • Eternal damnation (Mark 3:29). • Eternal judgment (Hebrews 6:2). • Eternal fire (Jude 1:7). • Fiery Furnace (Matthew 13:42). • Eternal Condemnation (Matthew 12:36-37). • Unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:12). • Lake of Fiery/Burning Sulfur (Revelation 19:20). • The Second Death (Revelation 2:11; Revelation 20:6; 14-15). • Shame and everlasting contempt (Daniel 12:2). • The blackness of darkness forever (2 Peter 2:17; Jude 1:13). Hell will be a place where the invidivual will experience: •Gnashing of teeth (grinding one’s teeth together-Matthew 13:50). •Darkness (Matthew 25:30). •Flames (Luke 16:24). •Both soul and body will be burning forever (Isaiah 33:14; Matthew 10:28). •Eternal regret of taking life for granted (Luke 16:25) •Eternal separation from God’s holy presence (Matthew 7:21-23; Matthew 25:41; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9). •Everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46). •No way of warning others of that terrible place (Luke 16:27-31)
  • 21. The Bible pretty much describes Hell to be a horrific place for the wicked and should be avoided at all costs. However, some take Hell lightly by mocking it or thinking it’s not such a bad place to go. Yet, the suffering in Hell will be beyond anything humanly imaginable! It is not a good place for anyone to go and God doesn't take pleasure in the death of the wicked (Ezekiel 18:23; 32; Ezekiel 33:11). Many think God is unfair and unloving because He sends people there for not believing yet the truth of the matter is people send themselves there because they didn’t want Him in the first place. They chose to refuse or admit they are sinners, they refuse to repent of their sins, they refuse to acknowledge their need of a Savior (Jesus) for the forgiveness of their sins, and refuse to be under the authority and Lordship of Christ in their lives (Hebrews 10:29). This individual who has a rebellious attitude towards God in this life will also have that same attitude towards God in Hell (Luke 16:19-25). God, being loving, will give that person what they have asked for! That is eternal separation from His presence (Hell). For a loving God grants them freedom to choose, even if that person rejects Him. If there’s no repentance and faith, sin still remains in that person and therefore they will spend eternity in Hell paying for their sins! However, sin is judged so severely because you sinned against a Holy God who gave you the breath of life, who brought you into this world, who fearfully and wonderfully made you, who provided for you your daily provisions in life, who has given you good health in your body, who let you experience good and bad days in life, who has blessed you with all the things you have in your possession (both in the past and present), who gave you things in life to enjoy, who gave you friends and family to love and to be loved, who gave you a mind to fill it with knowledge, who gave you hands to touch and feel things, who gave you feet to walk on this earth and have your being, who gave you eyes to witness His marvelous works in creation, who gave you a nose to smell good and pleasant things, who gave you a mouth to speak, eat, and drink, who gave you a mind to think logically, who gave you a conscious to know right from wrong, and who gave you an entire life to repent. To sum it all up, He created you and brought you into this world for the sole purpose of knowing, loving, and worshipping Him. Perhaps you may think it's too harsh or unfair that God would send someone there. You may say to yourself, “why would God punish someone for all eternity for a temporary sin such as stealing”? However, God’s ways and thoughts are not like ours (Isaiah 55:8; Psalm 50:21). In fact, There are two problems with this statement. First, God is just and that He never equivalates the proper punishment by the amount of time that sin was committed. For example, if you were to rob a bank in 15 minutes but get caught in the act of that crime, the justice system will not sentence you to 15 minutes in jail but will give you a longer sentence to punish you. Second, it doesn’t matter how small or big the sin was! What matters is the One of whom you have sinned against (God)! You may say, “Aren’t all sin the same”? Yes and No! Yes, all sin is sin (because sin is transgression of His commandments) as it is both equally wrong, sinful, and condemns the person who commits it. However, every sin carries different degrees of punishment and consequences to them (both here and the afterlife). But even if you commit one sin, you are guilty of violating all of His commandments (James 2:10)! That’s how severe sin is! One sin is an eternal crime to Him worthy of eternal punishment! Because God is infinite and sin must be punished infinitely! This makes man who is finite unable to pay for his/her sin through his/her good works (which are finite) because his/her righteousness doesn’t have infinite value to a Holy and Righteous God! Therefore, God will not accept such bribe that is filthy, corrupt, and sinful (Deuteronomy 10:17)! He will not pervert justice and will not go against His perfect, holy, and righteous character! Good works will not help you escape judgment because the Law has already been broken.
  • 22. Although we deserve to "...be punished with everlasting destruction..." (2 Thessalonians 1:9), God made a way that we could be absolutely forgiven and reconciled back to Him. This is the Gospel: He sent His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who is both truly man and truly God, who was born of a virgin named Mary, who became the sin-bearer for sinful men, who became a perfect and sinless sacrifice to atone (to both cover and take away) for our sins, who came to destroy the works of the devil, and took the divine punishment (that is God’s wrath against sin) we justly deserve upon the cross. After He was physically bruised, beaten, crucified and then buried, He physically rose from the dead with a resurrected and glorified body (which no man has ever done or ever seen before). "...Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). His resurrection proved that He is God and He has the power to conquer death, sin, and the devil. He obeyed every command of His Father perfectly. He fulfilled all righteousness that the Law required (Matthew 3:15; John 19:30; Romans 10:4). He is the only good person who ever lived a perfect and sinless life and He was the only one that the Father was pleased with! He imputes His righteousness unto those who believe in an exchange for their sins (i.e. the Great Exchange-2 Corinthians 5:21). Christian Hip Hop Rapper Timothy Brindle said it best this way in one of his songs (All sufficiency of Christ), “But because of Jesus’ bleeding gasping, Now before God my sin’s completely absent! Cause on that cross (Jesus), it was like my Hell! So now my righteousness is Christ Himself! Because of His blood spill (Jesus), Your mountain of grace (God) done smothered my dung hill!” How true is this statement! Furthermore, while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8) and eternally in debt to God (sin was a debt), God paid that debt for us through Jesus (because man is finite and that Jesus, who is God in the flesh, can only pay that eternal debt of sin). The debt has been paid in full (John 19:30-It is finished!). He paid it all with His life upon the cross and shed His precious blood for our sake. Below is the list of what the Blood of Jesus and His sacrificial death did for sinners (like us): 1. 20. His blood is the means by which we overcome the accuser of the brethren (The Devil is the accuser-Revelation 12:10–11). 21. His blood frees us from our sins (Revelation 1:5).
  • 23. 22. His death redeemed us from the curse of the Law (Galatians 3:13). 23. His death takes away the sins of the world (world referring to all people-John 1:29). 24. His death triumphed over the devil and his demons and made a public spectacle out of them (Colossians 2:15) 25. His death ushered in the New Covenant (Hebrews 7:22; Hebrews 9:15-22; Hebrews 8:6) as God promised (Ezekiel 36:26-27; Jeremiah 31:31; 33). 33. His death secures our resurrection from the dead (Romans 6:5; Romans 8:11; 2 Timothy 2:11) 34. His death is one of the three main points of the Gospel and it unleashes the power of God unto salvation to those who believe (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). 35. His death overcame the sufferings and trials of this life through joy and hope in God (Hebrews 12:2). 36. His death modeled for us to deny self, take up our crosses, and follow Him (Matthew 16:24-28; Matthew 10:38-40; Mark 8:34-38; Luke 14:27). 37. His death brought the Old Testament Priesthood to an End and Become the Eternal High Priest on our behalf (Hebrews 7:23-27; Hebrews 9:24-26; Hebrews 10:11-12). 38. His death led Him to become a Sympathetic and Helpful Priest on our behalf (Hebrews 4:15-16). 39. His death frees us from the bondage to the fear of death (Hebrews 2:14-15). 40. His death indicates that we would be with Him immediately in Heaven after we die (2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 2:21-23; 1 Thessalonians 5:10). With all that being said, stop trying to work and earn your salvation and start placing your faith solely in what Christ did for you (that is dying on the cross and shedding His blood for you)! It’s not what you must do (good works), but what Christ has done for you (His work on the cross has been finished for our salvation)! The response to the amazing Gospel is this: Repentance and Faith in Christ Alone. Repentance is a "change of mind". It is both turning (stopping and going in a new direction) and renouncing from your sinful ways (that is departing from every kind of evil) and hating to commit them again. So turn away from lying, lusting, blaspheming, coveting, stealing, idolatry, adultery, murder, fornicating, and/or any other sin(s) that has put you in spiritual bondage throughout your entire life. Repentance always precedes faith! Faith is both believing and trusting in Jesus Christ alone to save you because "....salvation is of the Lord" (Jonah 2:9). There is no other name that can save you! Not Muhammad, not Mary, not Moses, not Abraham, not Peter, not Paul, not Ghandhi, not the Pope, not any Catholic nun or priest both living and dead who are highly esteemed by the Catholic church, not Moroni, not Joseph Smith (founder of Mormonism), not the President or any governmental official, not Ellen G. White (founder of Seventh Day Adventist), not Charles Taze Russell (founder of Jehovah’s Witnesses), not Albert Pike (33rd Degree Mason who is highly esteemed by the Free-Masons), not your parents, not Buddha, not Maitreya (New Age), not Krishna or any other Hindu god, and etc (Acts 4:12). Make sure that you trust in the right Jesus! You cannot be saved through the Jesus of Islam, the Jesus of the Jehovah’s Witness, the Jesus of the Mormons (Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), the Jesus of Roman Catholicism, or the Jesus of Universal Unitarianism, Jesus of the Woke Culture or Progressive Christianity and etc. The only Jesus to trust in is the Jesus of the Bible and not the Jesuses portrayed in cults and false world religions (for they deny the humanity and deity of Jesus)! Jesus Christ of the Bible is the way, the truth, and the life and no man can come to the Father but by Him alone (John 14:6). Anything that contradicts the Jesus of the Bible is another gospel and is another Jesus (Galatians 1:8-9; 2 Corinthians 11:4).
  • 24. If someone chooses not to repent and place their faith in Christ, the wrath of God abides in them (John 3:36) and they will die in their sin (John 8:24). When they die, they will immediately end up in Hell for all eternity for rejecting Christ as Lord and Savior (Luke 16:22)! They will face God on Judgment Day and will give an account for their lives on earth (Great White Throne Judgment- Revelation 20:11-15). If someone truly repents and receives Christ by faith, they will have new affections and desires in wanting to serve Him, obey His commands, and live a holy and righteous life pleasing to Him. This is the result of being saved! It is a solid evidence of a changed life (in Christ)--not to become saved. The root of salvation is in Christ alone and the fruit of salvation is a changed life! It’s not because one works in order to be saved, it’s one who works because he/she is saved. Therefore, Faith is a Godward Condition of Salvation while good works (through a changed life) is the Man-ward Evidence of Salvation. Eternal life and grace is a free gift of God. Salvation is achieved by Christ’s atonement, not by our own attainment. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). God will save you and He will transform you. Don’t think you have to get your act together or come clean before you come to Christ! Christ will accept you the way that you are! However, He won’t let you stay as you are! He will change you from who you once were to what He wants you to become (that is conforming to His image)! He accepts all who humbly come to Him to be saved from their sins and He will forgive them all (past, present, and future)! He will change you from the inside and out! He will give you His Holy Spirit (who will reside in you) upon conversion to lead and guide you to live out the Christian life (Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 3:14). His Spirit will forever be with you (John 14:16). "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law" (Galatians 5:22-23). After God has saved and changed you, read, study, obey, and meditate on the Bible daily. "As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2). Find a sound biblical church that doesn't hold fast to man-made traditions but holds fast to the Bible as the divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God! Test the pastor to see if he preaches Christ crucified (nothing else) and join in fellowship with other believers who love and endure sound doctrine, who can guide and disciple you to spiritually mature in your personal walk and faith in the Lord. When given an opportunity by God, be sure to share your faith in Christ with others and be prepared to give a man an answer to the hope that lies in you (Colossians 4:16; 1 Peter 3:15-16). Do it gently and lovingly so they may not think of you as unloving and condemning. Remember that you will be faced with rejection and opposition so be patient when you share it with others. It takes time (may take even years) so trust and pray that God will convict them of the truth and accept His free gift of salvation and grace in Jesus Christ. You’re only there to plant and water the seed (which is the Word of God) in the hearts of others and God alone determines the growth (converts the heart-1 Corinthians 3:7). Once a believer dies, he/she will be immediately in the presence of the Lord Jesus in Heaven (2 Corinthians 5:6-8). His/her sin will not be judged against Him as the Lord Jesus has already judged it upon the cross (when He died and shed His blood). However, believers will be judged according to their service to Christ and be given rewards in Heaven (The Bema Seat of Christ-1 Corinthians 3:11-15). With all that being said, It is through Repentance and Faith in Jesus Christ alone that gives us a way to Heaven! Through Christ alone, we are good enough to go to Heaven! Not based on our righteousness but the righteousness of Christ! Not based on what we do, but what Christ did for us! We are saved by grace alone through faith alone, in Christ alone! Heaven is the destination for those who believe and He is the ultimate reward in Heaven! Heaven without God is not truly Heaven! Since we have already mentioned about Hell earlier, what about Heaven, you say? What’s that going to be like?
  • 25. WHAT WILL HEAVEN BE LIKE? • In Heaven, evil and sin doesn’t exist! • In Heaven, we will have an imperishable (not to decay in age or sickness again), unblemished (no defects or abnormalities), and incorruptible (we will never be corrupted or affected by sin) body other than the body we have now on earth. God will make it eternal so that it may withstand eternity. This will be the promise to all who come in faith in Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:42-44)! • In Heaven, there will be no sin, death, suffering, curse, or pain (Revelation 21:4; Revelation 22:3). We will never do anything to displease God. There will be no persecution, division, disunity, or hate. • In Heaven, there will be no more sea (Revelation 21:1) and no more night (Revelation 22:5). • In Heaven, there will be no quarrels or disagreements. There will be no disappointments. There will be no weeping because there will be nothing to make us sad (Revelation 7:17). • In Heaven, we will be surprised and amazed at Jesus’ appearance. Since Scripture never revealed how He looked like, all believers anticipate meeting Jesus face to face in Heaven. Not only that, but God the Father will also dwell with us forever. • We will then know perfect pleasure. Psalms 16:11 says, "In Your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore". Everything that now makes us groan will finally be done away with, and we will find ourselves in the very presence of God, where the purest and truest kind of pleasure is possible. • In Heaven, we will also have perfect knowledge. Paul writes, "Then I shall know just as I also am known" (1 Cor. 13:12). We will have no more unanswered questions, no confusion, no ignorance, and no more need to walk by faith rather than by sight. • We will live in perfect comfort. We will never experience one uncomfortable moment up there. • We will finally know perfect love. We will love God perfectly and will be loved perfectly by Him for all eternity. His love will engulf us forever. In Heaven, we will only be worshipping and praising Him because He is a good and just God! We will no longer need faith and hope because love will forever exist in Heaven. • We will know everyone perfectly. We will know everyone in Heaven including saints of the Old Testament, New Testament, the angels in Heaven, etc. • We will be perfectly judged and handsomely rewarded in Heaven. Since Christ judged our sin upon the cross once and for all, Christ will sit on His seat (Bema/Judgment Seat of Christ) and will judge and reward us according to our works we’ve done in His name. The works that were worthless and vain will be burnt up while the ones that had worth or value will remain. Whatever work that remains will be rewarded. • In Heaven, we will also be perfectly serving and working the Lord just as the angels in Heaven do. We are not told specifically what that work looks like in the Bible but whatever it is, we will be in a sinless and perfect environment rejoicing with absolute gladness. We cannot assume that the work we do in Heaven will be the same work we do on earth. • Although Heaven is the place up above this earthly realm, The New Jerusalem (the Holy City) will eventually come down from Heaven and be on the earth (Revelation 21:2) after the consummation of all things. For God promised a New Heaven and New Earth. We will not only be reigning up in Heaven with Christ but will reign with Him on the earth as well! Heaven and earth will be as one (not separated as it is now). • We could summarize by saying that Heaven is a place of perfect joy. Think of it this way; we will finally be perfectly free from evil forever. We will never again have a selfish desire or utter useless words. We will never perform another unkind deed or think a sinful thought. We will be perfectly liberated from our captivity to sin, and finally able to do that which is absolutely righteous, holy, and perfect before God. With sin and its effects erased forever, it will be a life of unimaginable blessing! In a nutshell, Heaven is a place of the "no mores"! • Heaven is so great and indescribable that even the Apostle Paul was not commanded to speak about it when he was caught up into Heaven (either in the body or out of the body-2 Corinthians 12:7).
  • 26. To sum it all up: Jesus made Heaven possible for all: • Jesus (who is God) left His glory and reign in Heaven came down to earth to take on human flesh (the doctrine of incarnation) and humbled Himself as a servant. • He lived a sinless life (although He was tempted like us) and obeyed God’s righteous standard perfectly (The Ten Commandments) on our behalf. • He died in our place of punishment (as the wages of sin is death according to the Law) appeasing God’s wrath against us and shed His innocent blood upon the cross to redeem and forgive us. • After He died, He was then buried and resurrected from the dead on the Third Day indicating He conquered death, the Devil, and sin. • He did all of this so that whoever puts their faith in Him will have eternal life and will be with Him in Heaven. Heaven is reserved only for: • Those who humble themselves to God (repentance and faith) • Those who don’t trust in their good works but the finished work of Christ alone! • Those who believe that Christ is the only way to God and Heaven in order to be saved! • Those who feel they deserve more of Hell than Heaven! • The righteous Hell is reserved only for: • Those who are proud and trust in their good works to save them! • Those who love sin and continue to live in it! • Those who deny and reject the work of Christ to be forgiven and redeemed! • Those who deny and reject that salvation is in Christ alone!
  • 27. Now that you know the Gospel, you have been warned! Confess and repent of your sins today (while you still have time) and don't wait until tomorrow (Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17; Mark 1:15; Acts 17:30)! • 28. "Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money. “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes" (James 4:13-14). Don’t take your time in this life for granted! Life isn’t certain to God, but it is uncertain to us! We can’t outrun death, but we can run to God. Call upon Him now while you still have time! "For he says, "At the right time I heard you, and on a day of salvation I helped you." Listen, now is really the "right time"! Now is the "day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2)! "Seek the LORD while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near" (Isaiah 55:6). "....Today if you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts" (Hebrews 4:7). "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool” (Isaiah 1:18). "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved“ (Romans 10:9-10). Christ is the only way you can get to Heaven! He is the only one who can give you eternal life! It's His work (the cross) and not ours that God is pleased with! Seek Him now and know Him as Lord and Savior, seek Him later, you'll know Him as Judge!
  • 29. Appendix: About The Sabbath As some of you know, there were only nine of the Ten Commandments mentioned on this presentation. The reason why I left the fourth commandment which reads, “Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy” out intentionally is to explain why this commandment has been fulfilled and isn’t commanded for any Christian to observe. The Sabbath which means “rest” is the proper name in Scripture for the 7th day of the week which corresponds to our Saturday. However, I will explain why I believe this viewpoint for several reasons. Here are some of the reasons. 1. The Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15:28-29 ruled that the Gentiles (non-Jews) should observe certain rules but the command to keep the Sabbath is not mentioned. 2. Nine out of the Ten Commandments are repeated and enforced in the New Testament except the Fourth Commandment which states “Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy”. 8. Revelation 21:8 and Revelation 22:15, a total of 13 sins are mentioned and again Sabbath breaking is not mentioned among them. 9. The mark of the beast is not worshiping on Sunday because the Catholic Church changed the original Sabbath day of Saturday as some Seventh Day-Adventists teach (Revelation 13:17-18). 10.The Early Church observed Sunday because Jesus resurrected on the first day of the week which is Sunday. 11.The Sabbath was a sign for Israel who was under the First Covenant (The Mosaic Covenant-Exodus 33:13; Deuteronomy 5:2-3) 12.The Sabbath symbolized Christ who is the mediator of the New Covenant (The Everlasting Covenant). 13.Those who under the Sabbath-keeping are under a curse as Paul teaches in Galatians. 14.Those who keep the whole of the Law should also keep all the 613 commandments in the First Covenant which is the Mosaic Covenant. 15.Man started to add various laws (just like the Pharisees did in Jesus’ time) making it very strict and impossible to keep the Sabbath. 16.Jesus abolished the Sabbath on the cross so Christians aren’t obligated to keep the Sabbath. 17.Jesus kept the Law perfect and was Lord over the Sabbath 18.We’re under the Law of Christ, the Law of Liberty! 19.The rest of God is not a day, it is a state that we enter into through Jesus Christ (Hebrews 3:7-4:11) 20.The Sabbath was a shadow that pointed to Christ, the substance (Colossians 2:16-17)! 21.Those who accept Christ have accepted Christ as their Sabbath! Rest from their efforts/labors in earning their salvation. They rest upon the finished work of Christ (It is finished)! 22.Sabbath was never mentioned to have a day nor a night in the beginning of creation. Hence, it was eternal and pointed to Christ who is our eternal Sabbath rest. 23.The thief on the cross didn’t keep any of the commandments including the Sabbath. He recognized that He was a sinner who needed a Savior and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ! For believing, He was accepted into Paradise! 24.The Philippian Jailer when he asked Paul and Silas in Acts, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved”? Paul didn’t say Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy but rather he said unto the Philippian Jailer, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved”…… 25.Christ offers this His rest to all who labor and are heavy laden by religious works in Matthew 11:28-30.
  • 30. Appendix: About The Sabbath (Continued) 26. When the rich young ruler asked Jesus, “how do I inherit eternal life”? Jesus mentions 9 of the 10 commandments and didn’t mention Sabbath keeping. However, the problem that the rich young ruler had was coveting and Jesus pointed that out lastly. 27. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who preceded Israel and who were known as their fathers didn’t keep the Sabbath (Deuteronomy 5:2-3). 28. The only commandments that God gave to Adam and Eve were to keep or tend to the garden and not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in Genesis 2:5. 29. Work and labor only existed after Adam and Eve sinned in Genesis 3:19. 30. The Law didn’t come or wasn’t established until 430 years later after Abraham (Galatians 3:17). 31. When there was no Law, there was no transgression…… which meant Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob weren’t responsible for Sabbath breaking or keeping. 32. Christ was chosen as the sacrificial lamb before the foundation of the world and before Sabbath was instituted (1 Peter 1:20-21 and 2 Timothy 1:9). 33. The Book of Genesis was written during the time of Moses, not before! Neither Adam or Abraham had the book of Genesis! God revealed the Sabbath during the time when Israel was in the wilderness journey! He only taught in the synagogues during the Sabbath 38. If Christians are called sun-worshippers because they worship on Sundays, then shouldn’t we call Sabbath keepers worshippers of Saturn because they worship on Saturdays? 39. Everything that Scripture spoke of in the Old Testament was speaking of Him (John 5:39). That includes the Sabbath! 40. Jesus boldly claimed that He came to fulfill the Law. 41. During Christ’s post-resurrection, two disciples of Christ on the road to Emmaus were instructed by Christ (before He revealed Himself to them) concerning the Scriptures which pointed to Him! From what we read in Luke 24:27, He started from the book of Moses and all the Prophets! Once again, what Moses and the prophets wrote concerned the Sabbath which is a foreshadow of Christ! 42. Before Cornelius was converted, it only stated that He feared God and prayed to God always! Although being a Gentile, it never stated that he kept the Sabbath! Even after the Sabbath! 43. Why is baptism observed more than the Sabbath? 44. The Early Church were commanded by Paul to collect offerings on Sundays (the first of the week) in 1 Corinthians 16:1-4. It doesn’t even mention the Sabbath day! 45. Jesus rose on Sunday, the first of the week, and not on the Sabbath in Mark 16:9. 46. The disciples of Jesus assembled three times on Sunday, the first of the week, before and after Jesus’ resurrection, never on the Sabbath (John 20:19; John 20:16; Acts 2:1). 51. In Matthew 28:19-20, why did Jesus commission His disciples as well as us Christians today to go out unto all the nations and make disciples and teach them to observe all that He commanded and baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Yet in all of Christ’s teachings which we must teach those to observe, never did He say to keep the Sabbath!
  • 31. Appendix: About The Sabbath (Continued) 52. Sabbath keeping only leads one back into the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:9-10). 53. When Nicodemus came to visit Jesus in the night in John 3, Jesus never mentioned that he had to keep the Sabbath but He needed to be born again. 54. When the crowd of 5,000 asked Jesus, “what work does God require us to do”? Yet Jesus replied that the work that God requires is that they believe in Him Whom He has sent (speaking of Himself). There is no mention of Sabbath keeping. 55. Sabbath keeping is a work that contradicts Ephesians 2:8-9 that we’re saved by grace through faith and not of works lest any man should boast. 56. Those who keep the Sabbath become a stumbling block to other Christians (even to baby Christians-1 Corinthians 8:9). 57. Sabbath keeping was part of the Law which was a curse. Yet, Jesus became a curse for us to redeem us from the Law (Galatians 3:13). 58. The Sabbath was made for man not man for Sabbath (Mark 2:27). Jesus was reinstating the principle that the Sabbath was instituted to relieve man from his labors, just as He came to relieve man from attempting to achieve salvation through works. 59. Sabbath keeping which is part of the Law can never make one perfect. 60. Keeping the Sabbath doesn’t save you. If you’re not blood bought, there is no remission (forgiveness) of sins. 61. Even though most Christians worship on Sunday and consider it to be the Sabbath, we should remember that there is no day that we need to esteem. Christ is the Sabbath to Christians. 62. Christians are dead to the Law which includes Sabbath keeping (Romans 7). 63. The Sabbath was not given to the Church as a sign. 64. Sabbath keeping leads to fear and judgment. 65. Although God rested on the Seventh Day in Genesis 2:1, we learn in the four gospels through Christ that God never stopped working (John 5:17). Yet God finished the work which was man’s salvation in Christ (John 19:30). 66. The Sabbath was never commanded other nations in the Old Testament to observe the Sabbath. 67. The Law and the prophets (which includes Sabbath) were until John and beyond that time the Gospel of the Kingdom was being preached (Luke 16:16). 68. Noah never kept the Sabbath because the Law was never given then. It was only given to Moses. 69. Joseph never kept the Sabbath because the Law was never given during his time in Egypt and even when the Israelites were in Egyptian bondage for 400 years. 70. Sabbath was never changed! It was abolished by Christ Himself! 71. When Jesus spoke the Sermon on the Mount, He never mentioned the hearers to keep the Sabbath! 72. If Christians who don’t keep the Sabbath, how come Sabbath keepers don’t stone them according to the death penalty of Sabbath breakers? 73. Sabbath keepers break their own rules which is punishable by death since they live under the Law 74. The priests in the Old Testament were allowed to profane the Sabbath (Numbers 28:9-10; Matthew 12:5). In fact, their whole life was dedicated in serving God. 75. Sabbath keepers state that Constantine changed the Sabbath to Sunday but the Early Church had long been observing Sunday. 76. Why was there no protest recorded in history to this supposed change made by Constantine? 78. Insisting Christians to observe the Sabbath day as Jews did, turns our minds away from the spiritual lessons it was meant to teach us. 79. Christ abolished the enmity (the Law which includes the Sabbath) in His flesh (Ephesians 2:15). 80. Christ is the mediator of a better covenant than the old (which includes Sabbath keeping). 81. Christ shed His blood which is the blood of the New Testament. His blood washes away our sins and the Law that was against us (which includes Sabbath keeping).
  • 32. Appendix: About The Sabbath (Continued) 82. 85. The disciples of Christ kept the Sabbath because they didn’t understand that all of the Law of Moses (including Sabbath keeping) would be abolished. 86. Since Christians who are under the New Testament/Covenant are a royal priesthood, aren’t we also exempt from keeping the Sabbath? 87. Sabbath keepers believe that the seal of God is keeping the Sabbath. However, the Bible never makes mention that Sabbath keeping is the seal of God. I thought the Spirit is received through faith and not the works of the Law (Galatians 3:2)! 92. Christ takes away the first covenant (the Law) and establishes the Second (the New covenant) in Hebrews 10:9. 93. The priesthood changed means there is made of necessity a change also of the Law (includes Sabbath keeping) in Hebrews 7:12. 94. The Book of Hebrews speaks about everything in the Old Testament was the fulfillment of Christ. A book Sabbath keepers need to read. For Sabbath keepers, you have broken the third commandment and are guilty of breaking all Ten Commandments. 99. Sabbath keeping frustrates the grace of God 100. Sabbath keeping causes one not to do good to those who are in need. Don’t be deceived! Whoever tries to persuade you to keep the Sabbath because your salvation depends upon it is not of God and is preaching another Gospel!
