Adoption of Filipino as major subjects and
medium of Instruction in Elementary and High
School levels.

the people.”

an understanding of assessment of social
forces and conditions of the present
generation.”
Relevancy
New scientific discoveries and new diseases
Technological innovations and inventions
Destructive changes in the environment

and effective.”
5. “ Educational program should provide opportunit
or all types of learner.”
Who are these learners?
They are:
 Above average and superior students
Average students
Exceptional students who posses
physical and mental traits

the center of educational activities.”
7. “ Education requires the formulation of objectives in
terms of student’s growth and not in terms of subject
matter.”
The child is the most important client of the school.
Child’s growth is orderly and follows scientifically proven patterns of
development.
Learning is affected by maturation, which is a genetically determined
pattern of growth and development, and the individual’s readiness to learn.
