This document outlines an experimental class called MSLD 595 Understanding the Global Business Environment offered by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The class consists of online modules followed by a 9-day trip to China to interact with students, businesses, and government officials. The trip to China includes visits to factories, universities, cultural sites, and meetings with professionals in Beijing and Shanghai. The total estimated cost for students to take the class is $4000 which covers tuition, travel to China, lodging, food, and local transportation during the trip.
