Aero Snap is part of Windows 7. On the Mac side you will need to install 3rd party applications, like Cinch, to eliminate the tedium of arranging windows exactly on the screen. The applications immediately expand a window that is dragged to the right or left edge to fill exactly half of the screen. Dragging either to the bottom or top will cause that window to completely fill the screen.
PowerChart has long had the Tear Off button. This had very little usage on small 1024x768 or even slightly larger screens. Once the resolution exceeded the 1440 x 850 or larger then it suddenly has productivity uses as the embedded video shows.
You are not limited to just PowerChart. Often we need another reference or educational resource open at the same time PowerChart is open. Here are other real-time applications that are used with patients in the exam room to enhanced the visit experience.
