WHY IT IS CHOOSED ?
• Most of the people in our country use helmet to avoid police fine
not because of their safety.
• To make indispensable to wear helmet for riding bike we develop
the project.
• Smart helmet ensures wearing the helmet by rider and chin strip
attachment during a ride.
6. 006
COMPONENTS USED IN OUR PROJECT
• Arduino NANO and UNO
• Alcohol sensor MQ3
• Bluetooth module HC05
• LCD display board

BATTERY
1. Battery supply to motor to operate
the motor through indicating led.
2. The circuit controlled by the pulse
generated in Arduino board as per
helmet feedback.

CHALLENGES FACED DURING PROJECT
• Programming error
• Ascii value detection
• Bluetooth communication error
• Pairing of Bluetooth module
• Mq3 proper calibration
• Too many trials
• Its Cost
12. 012
LEARNING FROM PROJECT
• Idea implementation
• Problem solving
• New software and language
• Electronics components
• Coding and programming
• Actual bike wiring and ignition system
• Teamwork and SGA
13. 013
• Real time location feedback
• SOS system by GPS / GSM module
• Charging of battery from bike
• Battery level indication of helmet
• Health monitoring
• Crash detection
• Call answering
FUTURE SCOPE
14. 014
• Bluetooth module – versatile nature
(Like our phone we can pair any two Bluetooth module with bike
Bluetooth)
• Longibity- MQ3 average life >10 yrs.
• Other components like Bluetooth module >5 yrs.
• Cost- setup cost- 3000 (during project)+ helmet
price
• If mass production considered, then <2000
