Design Agreement for DREAMFactory Marketing to START WORK

GRAPHIC DESIGN “WORK-FOR-HIRE” AGREEMENT
AGREEMENT made this ______________day of ______ , 2012, by and between the
undersigned __Brian A. Franco / DREAMFACTORY Marketing – D/B/A__ and the
undersigned ________________________________________.
This Agreement is entered into in the State of (insert state) and is guided by and
governed by the laws of that state.
The undersigned parties hereby agree that all rights, copyrights, titles and interest in
any artwork by designer, on behalf of Client belong solely and exclusively to the
Owner/Client free from any claims whatsoever by the designer other than copyright
mention.
The enticement and consideration for this Agreement is the promise by the Client to
pay the Designer a discounted amount of $ _______________ __. There is a one-time
compensation of ______ __ with 50% paid upfront at ______________________ for
Designer's services (sometimes known as a “work-for-hire”). The Designer
understands that the first payment of _________________ __ will be completed “in
full” after the final art is completed. At the time which the Owner/Client then has the
remaining ________________________ at his disposal from the first income off the
sale of his product, the Designer will then be paid the remainder owed on the
project (no more than 2 months after completion). See Schedule A listing work to
be delivered.
This project will be completed in_________________________– or possibly sooner,
depending on the process. And the Owner/Client may only ask for

2. ____________global change(s) to the artwork so as not to impede the process of
completion to meet deadline and to keep mindful that this job is taken at a
discounted price with no room for multiple changes, additions, deletions, edits, or
the like.
This contract allows the Client to use the image as they see fit and without any legal
disputes with the Designer. The only stipulation being that the artists name must
appear somewhere indicating they designed the item so they can use the image for
their portfolio of works.
This contract constitutes a release of copyright for duplication of the artwork to be
made freely upon the Owners needs.
We have entered into this written contract as of the date above written. Please
remit payment to the BANK DETAILS for immediate transfer to start work on this
project called, “Cookie Box”. As soon as the first installment payment makes a
complete transfer, all work will begin and the Designer will keep all “time” on project
documented and provide this at the end of the project upon delivery of all
completed files – in 1 week’s time after final installment payment is successful.
