The fast changing economic and Banking scenario is bringing about a paradigm shift in growth
strategiesof Banking sector and with the growing demands of the middleincomegroup for betterquality
of life has thrown open new growth strategies to the Banking sector. In the ever changing scenario of
Banking Industry, innovation is the key word for a winner. With the increasing competition among
Banks for mobilizing low-cost deposits, improving credit take-off and thereby increasing profits,
Personal Banking segment paves the path.The personal segment improves the customer base and results
in increase of profit. In view of the importance assumed in the present competitive market, Banks have
targeted the group of Employees of Public & Private companies and institutions, Government, Semi &
quasi Government corporate and Professional and self-employed persons. Proactive to the demands of
various segments of the society, Banks have modified or revised guidelines from time to time to make
theirproductsandtheirdeliverycompetitiveandcustomerfriendly.
Retail Banking in India has emerged as the major driver for banking industry and has witnessed
enormous growth in the past. Banks in India are bullish about the future prospects of retail banking.
Retail banking in India is likely to witness increased activities with the announcement of new banking
Licences which will open up competition in the area leading Banks to keep themselves abreast of the
EMERNGING CHALLENGESAND LATESTTRENDS.

The programme shall use a unique blend of activities/exercises, interactive discussions, presentations,

Latest Trends (RBCALT) was organized during
September 17-19, 2014, The 1st MDP was well
received, all the participants expressed great
satisfaction with the rich contents of the
program, with excellent delivery by highly
experienced faculty of IBS Hyderabad and they
were greatly impressed by the hospitality

Banking. His research interests are mainly in the
Banking domain and he has more than 100
publications to his credit that includes text & edited
books, case studies, and research papers published
in International and National Journals as well as in
important International Conferences. Since 2012,
he is the consulting editor of IUP Journal of Bank
Management. For the academic year 2013-14, he
received the BEST TEACHER AWARD of IBS,
Hyderabad,IFHE (DeemedUniversity).

MDPs/FDPs are offered as open programs or
