4. It acts cheifly upon the

CONSTITUTION
There is no particular constitution of the
patient as such ,however,there is sycotic
and syphilitic background for the troubles.

together.they hurt the urethra.
There is tearing pain along the urethra in
zigzag direction.
Pain extends from external orifice of the
urethra backwards,burning and bitting.pain

7. Obstinate constipation causing retension of
urine,with constriction of anus.
Dyspnoea or asthma where patient can
breath better only by standing up.
Choking in swallowing,things “go down the
wrong way”.
Sensation as of drops of water are failing on
or from a single part,on the headmfrom
anus,stomach,heart,etc.

8. URINARY SYMPTOMS-Cannabis sativa is
adapted to urinary troubles,arising from or
brought on by gonorrhoea,the cardinal
symptoms of which are as follows :
STAGE-In acute and inflammatory stage of
gonorrhoea especially in the first stage,in
urethritis.
Urethra is very much sensitive to touch and
pressure.cannot walk with legs close
together.keeps the legs wide apart because
touch hurts the urethra.
9. SENSATION-’burning’sensation in urethra
during and after urination.
CHARACTER OF PAIN-stiching and tearing
pain along the urethra in a zigzag
direction.pain extending from orifice of
urethra to backwards,burning and bitting
while urinating.there is frequent,violent and
constant urging to urinate.
DURING URINATION-most painful and difficult
urination.there is stitching pain in urethra
while the urine flows.violent pain at the close
of urination.
10. AFTER URINATION-pressing out feeling at
the orifice of the urethra after urination.
CHARACTER OF URINE-urine is mixed with
blood,scalds when passing,there is
thick,yellowish gonorrhoeal discharge from
the urethra.
MODALITY-Aggravation from touch.
11. Suited especially in bronchitis and asthma.
SENSATION-there is sensation of weight on
the chest.
CHARACTER OF COUGH-Rattling cough
with wheezing and dyspnoea where the
patient can breath better only by standing
up.must have windows open.
CHARACTER OF SPUTA-cough withgreen
viscid expectoration.salty sputa with blood
spitting.
12. CHARACTER OF PAIN-During coughing
there is stitching pain in the chest.
MODALITIES-Aggravation by lying down.
Amelioration-by standing up.
FOR THREATENED ABORTION
COMPLICATED WITH
GONORRHOEA,THIS DRUG IS AN
EXCELLENT REMEDY.
There may also be sexual over excitement in
either sex.

Strong action on urinary tract or urethra.
excellent remedy for gonorrhoea.
most characteristic symptom is that the urethra is very
sensitive to touch or external pressure.
pt cant walk with his leg close together because any
pressure along the tract hurts him so.
if ds extended up the urethra or bladder there will often
severe pain in back in every few minutes and urine may be
bloody.
when inflammatory symptoms subsided by c.s.medicine,and
thin discharge have thickened and become greenish in
appearance .
then merc sol often finish the case,or if a little ,thin,gleety
discharge remained,i cured that with slphur capsicum or kali
iodide.
case will cured in one or two weeks.
sometimes case finish with pulsatilla,sepia,sulphur.
15. after cannabis sativa,mercurius corrosivus,if
the discharge is thick & green,if the burning
continues.
pulsatilla & sepia if discharge is thick &
bland.
sulphur for gleet.
one more curious symptoms removed by this
remedy is ,a sense of dropping ,around,or in
the region of the heart.
dont know its pathologiocal signification but it
is very annoying and the pt.is very greatful to
be rid of it.

18. Seems to affect especially the urinary, sexual, and
respiratory organs. It has characteristic sensations as of
dropping water. Great fatigue, as from over-exertion; weary
after meals. Choking in swallowing; things go down the
wrong way. Stuttering. Confusion of thought and speech.
Wavering speech. Wavering speech, hasty, incoherent.
Head.--Lectophobia. Vertigo; sensation of dropping water on
head. Pressure on root of nose.
Eyes.--Opacity of cornea. Cataract from nervous
disturbances, abuse of alcohol and tobacco; patient feels
deeply approaching blindness. Misty sight. Pressure from
back of eyes, forward. Gonorrhśal ophthalmia. Eyeballs
ache. Scrofulous eye troubles (Sulph; Calc).
Urine.--Retained, with obstinate constipation. Painful urging.
Micturition in split stream. Stitches in urethra. Inflamed
sensation, with soreness to touch. Burning while urinating,
extending to bladder. Urine scalding, with spasmodic closure
of sphincter. Gonorrhśa, acute stage; urethra very sensitive.
Walks with legs apart. Dragging in testicles. Zigzag pain
along urethra. Sexual overexcitement. Urethral caruncle
(Eucalypt), phimosis. Stoppage of urethra by mucus and pus.
