COMPENSATION MANAGEMENT
The establishment and implementation of sound policies, programmes and practices of employee
compensation that is concerned with the compensation for their work and contribution for
attaining organisational goals.
It is the act of providing monetary value to a worker which include salary, bonuses ,profit
sharing, travel ,house allowances, overtime pay, commission and medical benefit packages.
 In order to find , keep and motivate employees to do quality work.
Raise their performance levels.
Attracting quality employees.
 Focusing employees efforts
Retaining top performers.
JOB EVALUATION
A systematic way of determining the worth of a job in relation to other jobs in an enterprise. It
tries to make a systematic comparison between jobs to assess their relative worth for the purpose
of establishing a rational pay structure. Thus
 job evaluation is an assessment of various jobs on the basis of a consistent set of job and
personal factors, such as qualifications and skills required.
In simple language it is the rating of jobs in an organization.
It is also a comparative process.
