unmanned naval force. Competitively selected and finished as a top graduate of the Navy’s most prestigious graduate
school program.

- Used extensive aviation experience to spearhead programs that helped incorporate drones in the federal airspace
system, combat and naval operations.
- Led in the development of the first completely pilotless, carrier-based unmanned airplane.
- Developed and help introduced ground-breaking theories on combat integration of unmanned systems that saved
countless lives and taxpayer dollars.

national laboratories and commercial entities for an unmanned future fighting force (ground, sea and air).

2003-2007 Aviation Safety, Quality Assurance Pilot, USMC - Oceanside, CA.
Responsibilities
- Served as the CEO’s expert in all aviation safety matters. Responsible for leading, mentoring and developing 300
Marines, seven subordinate managers and $280 Million in assets. Personally accountable for completing over 2,000
hours of instruction in standardized processes and procedures.
Major Accomplishments
- Leveraged extensive combat experience to prepare 211 future Marine Aviators for the rigors of providing close air
support in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- Prepared and presented a daily summary of the aviation safety climate, operational risk and mitigation measures for
the CEO.
- Redesigned aircraft maintenance scheduling from an average of 21 to 5 days, resulting in a 63% increase in overall
efficiency.
- Eliminated redundant maintenance procedures resulting in $2.8 million in cost savings to taxpayers.
- Authored and instructed aviation mishap avoidance classes and reviewed daily flight operations schedule for strict
adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Calculated risk assessment and mitigation plan for over 700 dynamic events involving split-second decisions and life
and death consequences.
- Produced the Emergency Mishap Plan used in the event of an aviation mishap. Conducted regular drills to simulate
actions taken in the event of an aviation mishap.
- Conducted anonymous safety surveys to reveal safety atmosphere of the unit then generated an action plan for an
increase in enterprise-wide safety awareness.
