Savills Valuations is a team of experienced
valuers who are the sparring partner for
numerous (institutional) investors, developers,
banks, corporates and governments.
Asset Types
We value offices, residential, retail, industrial
and logistics property and we have specialists
covering development projects and specific
real estate such as retail, hotels, resorts,
leisure facilities, marinas and airports.
Purpose of Valuations
Our instructions are for performance
measurement, accounting purposes, real
estate finance, business acquisitions, equity
capital transfers, disputes, assurance
purposes and real estate taxation
Besides the traditional valuations, we provide
backup analysis for transactions and due
diligence for finance decisions and portfolio
management. Through this, Savills supports
clients on buy and sell opportunities and in
strategic real estate decision making.
Valuation Reporting
Over the years Savills Valuations have
developed a high quality product. Valuations
can be reported using details valuation
reporting formats, even when the client has a
tight time schedule. We use thorough DCF-
models and traditional valuation methods.
Naturally, our reports comply with the
guidelines as formulated by the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors and are in
accordance with the International Valuation
Standards.
All our valuations are carried out by fully
qualified, highly experienced RICS registered
valuers.

Cross Border Investment
London is the biggest target market for cross
border investment. Over the course of 2014 Savills
advised on 24% of commercial transactions by
volume in Central London, this equates to just over
c.£5.2bn across 90 sales and acquisitions. Savills
was also involved in more transactions with
investors from the Middle East, South America and
Asia Pacific regions than its competitors in 2014.
This included investors from China, Brazil, Saudi
Arabia and Taiwan.
A Key Focus
A key focus for Savills is to be able to advise on
and manage real estate on behalf of a wide range
of clients from private individuals to leading global
wealth managers and funds, sovereign wealth
funds and financial institutions. We aim to have a
close and committed relationship with all our
clients.
Our Role
Our role and the basis of our engagement is
different in each of these cases. Our established
institutional clients, some of which we have advised
since their first acquisitions in the UK
20 years ago, require regular reporting and periodic
assessment of the management of existing assets
and the acquisition or disposal of others our new
clients, whether they are big or small, typically will
require a significant amount of research, analysis of
target markets and extensive advice and guidance
leading towards their first transaction.
Our Aim
Our aim is to assemble a core team for each
investor to provide the best and most relevant
service to fit with their needs and investment
strategy. This team will be led by the most
appropriate team, but often combine the expertise
of several parts of the wider Savills Group. In any
event, and throughout the process, the Cross
Border Investment team will stay involved and
ensure that the client receives the best service.

Asset Types We value offices, residential, retail, industrial and logistics property and we have specialists covering development projects and specific real estate such as retail, hotels, resorts, leisure facilities, marinas and airports. Purpose of Valuations Our instructions are for performance measurement, accounting purposes, real estate finance, business acquisitions, equity capital transfers, disputes, assurance purposes and real estate taxation Besides the traditional valuations, we provide backup analysis for transactions and due diligence for finance decisions and portfolio management. Through this, Savills supports clients on buy and sell opportunities and in strategic real estate decision making. Valuation Reporting Over the years Savills Valuations have developed a high quality product. Valuations can be reported using details valuation reporting formats, even when the client has a tight time schedule. We use thorough DCF- models and traditional valuation methods. Naturally, our reports comply with the guidelines as formulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and are in accordance with the International Valuation Standards.
