3. Atorvastatinum (10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, 80 mg tbl.)
Indicated (with suitable diet) for lowering of:
• LDL-cholesterol
• apolipoprotein B
• triglycerides
IN adults, adolescents and children
(more than 10 years old) with primary
hypercholesterolaemia.
6. Contraindications:
• hypersensitivity
• active liver disease
• three times or more elevation of serum
transaminases (from upper border of
normal levels)
• pregnancy and lactation
• generative women that do not take
contraception (risk for pregnancy)
8. Fenofibratum
Indications are:
• treatment of severe
hypertriglyceridemia with or without
low HDL-cholesterol levels
• mixed hyperlipidemia when statins are
contraindicated
• in addition with statins if necessary
10. Contraindications:
• liver insufficiency
• gall blader diseases
• severe chronic kidney disease
• chronic or acute pancreatitis (exept if it
is caused with hypertriglyceridemia)
• fototoxic reaction on fenofibrat
• hypersensitivity
