My four acts of active citizenry
1. Help people in need
I helped a few aging ladies by carrying their groceries at
featherbrooke. Despite some that were insecure. Regardless, I
carried their plastic bags to their cars or if they were taking a taxi.
2. Donated money to the Malawian association club.
The association was collecting money in order to help the students
that were involved in a car accident at Monash. The money was used
to buy flowers and cards wishing them all quick recoveries and
letting them know that they were in our prayers and to try put a
smile on their face.
3. Picking up litter
I walked around the school campus looking for any litter that was on
the ground. I picked it up and simply threw it in the bin thus, keeping
our environment clean.
4. Helped a fellow student with their work
I helped the student with ideas that I had on the topic they were
working on and when they had to print, I gave my student card in
order for the printing to be done since he did not have enough
printing credit.
