Personal Statement
I am a hard working and conscientious individual, who has the ability to work well as a team however I do
have the initiative to work alone.
I am smart and always well presented, I have great communication skills and always approach others
appropriately and effectively.
I would consider myself an honest, reliable, keen person. I would be willing to undertake training to
benefit myself or the company.
I have also recently become a father for the first time and want to provide a good life for my new family

Work Experience
SELF EMPLOYED – Marketer/Sales Rep at Collective Green Energy/Eco Firm Direct Sept 2015 – May
2016
After making numerous friends working at GEPS I looked to working again with some of those that had
also moved on to other things and carried on with the solar panel direction with 2 of those that were
working at Collective Green Energy and started marketing for them . It wasn’t long before I was trying my
hand at the Repping side of things , which was something that I thoroughly enjoyed . The going to meet
new people at their homes and sitting chatting to them was something that suited me down to the
ground , my only regret being that I went into all this without the correct training to make the most of my
situation .
In January 2016 as the Feeding Tariff was slashed dramatically the people running our office decided to
pull away from Collective Green Energy and form their own Company called Eco Firm Direct and ventured
into the air source heat pump market and I followed suit . I have since left this company due to a pay
dispute and lack of stability which is very important to me as I have become a Father for the first time
and I want a stable background for my daughter .
SELF EMPLOYED – Marketer at Green Energy Power Solutions – April 2015 – Aug 2015
Since my shoulder operation back in October the Doctors told me I would have to Retrain in some other
form of work that wasn’t so physical as my shoulder wouldn’t be able to sustain it long term . So I
secured a job at GEPS as a marketer , producing leads for the sales team to go out and sell various
products in the Green energy market such as solar panels , boilers and energy saving windows .
I wish I would have gotten into sales years ago as it catered to my strong points , which I believe to be
Dealing with people in a face to face capacity , so much so that I was soon made a “team leader “ .
SELF EMPLOYED - Dry Liner/Joiner June 2014 – Oct 2014 due to key hole surgery on my shoulder
Since Stobart I have turned my hand to whatever work I could find doing all kinds of roles in the
construction trade as I already have experience in such trades having worked in these areas in my earlier
years.
STOBART RAIL - Trackman/Civil Engineer Dec 2013 - June 2014
I was working as part of a 5-7 man gang working in different parts of the country doing the civil side of
things on the railway such as troughing , pulling cable and digging UTX's amongst other duties . I am still

2. on Stobarts books as I only have a 0 hours contract but I haven't worked for Stobart since June as mine
and and other gangs were stood down due to lack of work.
HDS HOME DELIVERY SOLUTIONS - Courier/Delivery driver Sept 2012 - Dec 2013
I was working as a team of 2 or sometimes on my own delivering all manner of household items to
homes and businesses all over the UK . We were driving Mercedes Luton Vans mainly and had to be at
destinations for 6/7AM, 90% of the time which obviously meant starting at 1/2AM some mornings
depending on the destination , unless it was the Scotland run , in which case we would leave the night
before.
DEWBERRY ENGINEERING –SteelErector, Full Time, June 2012-August 2012.
I was working as a subcontractor for Dewberry Engineering erecting plant at a cement works in Rugby.
This involved manual work, using various different tools such as grinders, impact guns etc. On occasion I
had to work at height .
MANSFIELD MOULDINGS –Factory Operative, Full Time, April 2011-August 2011 & March 2012-June 2012.
This job entailed producing fibre glass mouldings such as slides, car parts etc that were distributed to all
different trades. The role also included using air line tools .
MI ELECTRICAL, Electricians Assistant, Full Time, August 2011-February 2012.
I worked for a Nottingham based electrical company mainly refurbishing villas at Centre Parcs. I was part
of a 3 man team ripping out old electrical installations along side working out new cable routes and
installing the new wires/circuits.
This also meant working away from home up to two weeks at one time.
AERO ELECTRICAL –Electricians Assistant, Full Time, August 2010-February 2011.
I worked for a Ollerton based electrical company, once again travelling around the country providing a
service. In a lot of cases I had to liaise with Managers, Directors and members of the public.
Achievements
Since leaving school I have achieved a Personal Track Safety certificate which enabled me to work on the
railway.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy going to the gym daily, playing 5 a side on a weekly basis where I also get to socialise. My main
hobby would be Djing, this I am very passionate about and have been since my early teens.
