Wedding photography- brochure from David Morphew - Wedding Photographer in Warwickshire, UK. We photograph a carefully selected number of weddings across the UK
2. ABOUT DAVID MORPHEW
I’ve been a photographer ever since I can remember and
photographing weddings professionally for years. I’ve learned my
craft from some of the best photographers around, working and
studying with photographers both in the UK and from as far away as
the USA and Australia. You never stop learning and that’s where
the passion comes from that means I enjoy each and every wedding.
Reportage? Photojournalism?
What’s it all about?
Couples tell me they like my pictures because they are natural. But most
people need a little help to look natural. They also tell me they don’t like
being photographed and that’s what I do best: help you relax and have fun
so you enjoy the experience.
Photojournalism or reportage is very fashionable, but if your photographer
only lurks in the background you’re going to miss so much of the day. I think
wedding photography is about recording the day as it unfolds, with a little
gentle direction, making sure I capture you and your carefully chosen venue,
at your very best.
My Team
My assistant, Jade Forrester, who graduated from Coventry University with
first class honours, has been working as part of my team since 2006. She
has a great eye for detail and is an invaluable part of my service, involved
heavily in the preparation along with putting that feminine touch to your
final photography package.
My PA Tess, is always on the other end of the phone,
when I’m not around, to answer all of your questions.
You are a fantastic photographer and
it was a real pleasure to share our day
with you. Jade was truly great and
fantastic at putting me at my ease...
especially before I went up the aisle!

4. LIFESTYLE WEDDINGS
Planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but with our
help it becomes exciting. Choosing the right photographer
is so important to make sure the day runs smoothly and is stress
free. I’d like to think I’m a little different from other photographers.
I’m not here to sell you packages of “stuff.” For me, wedding
photography is about capturing all those moments with
stunning pictures and not taking over the day.
On the day
This is where all that preparation and planning pays off. Typically we’ll start with the
bride getting ready, a couple of hours before the ceremony and because, for all but
the smallest wedding, you’ll have two photographers, we can also be with the boys
whether it’s for that early morning game of golf or a quick half in the pub.
L
eaving for the church to get there well before the ceremony we’ll get some great
shots of the groom and his family and friends while making sure we’re set up for
some discrete shots during the service. Whatever the format of the day we’ll be
there to help and we won’t keep your guests waiting for ages. If you’re running late,
that’s not a problem, our goal is to take away all the stress.
After the wedding
I aim to get the previews to you within two weeks – in most cases they’ll be ready
when you get back from honeymoon. I’ll show you all the pictures in a special viewing
session and I’ll help you choose. And we can look at design and style ideas for your
album. The choice is bewildering but I’ll be there to make it as easy as possible.
The next step
First let’s check the day is free, then give me a call to arrange a time when we can
meet over a coffee and discuss your plans for the perfect wedding. I’ll show you
some sample albums and how we approach the day and this is your chance to ask
all those difficult questions about insurance and bad weather.
I promise you won’t get a hard sell, but don’t just take my word for it if you’d like
to talk to any of last seasons’ brides, just let me know.
The photos were beautiful and captured
the magic and moods of the day perfectly
from start to finish.

6. But we don’t just shoot weddings.
Much as we love weddings, with a studio in Warwick we’re
kept pretty busy with portraits, commercial and editorial
work. You’ve probably seen our work in the magazines,
so now you know what we get up to in the week.
7. Albums and collections
In this digital age we’re always asked about images on disk and
while of course we can supply images at all resolution, we really do
encourage you to look at albums and think of the disk as being “as
well as” not “instead of.”
Coffee table books laid out like a magazine so you really
can tell the story of the day with your wedding images
Storybooks are very similar but with thicker pages makes
them just a little bit more solid
The Studio Albums offer a classic look with the images
presented behind cardboard mounts
The Art Albums take that classic feel a bit further with
luxurious leather covers

9. The pre-wedding photo-shoot
Why wait until you the wedding to have some great photos?
An informal and fun pre-wedding photo shoot is a brilliant
way for us to get to know one another better and will help
you feel relaxed in front of the camera on your wedding day.
These portrait sessions can be a lot of fun because I’ll make sure you are having a
good time while I get to photograph it. The best time to do it is just after you book
me. The closer we get to the wedding – you’ll be frantically busy.
These portraits make emotional gifts for your family, as well as giving you
a photo for a save the date card.
Many couples use the picture for a signature portrait: You choose your favourite
photograph from the session and I will provide you with a mount for your guests to
sign during your wedding celebrations. Then after the wedding I’ll frame it for you.
The result is a beautiful and very personal memento of your special day.
Thank you for doing such a great job with
our photos. Thank you also for being such
a pleasure to have at our wedding day.
We will definitely be recommending you to
friends and family.

The pictures were fantastic and we
found it so hard to pick the best ones
since they were all so good. The finished
storybook is absolutely fabulous and we
will recommend you to all our friends
without a shadow of a doubt. I’m sure
they’ll be asking who we used when
they see the album anyway!
