Profile
I am a trade qualified mechanical fitter and welder with over 30 years international experience across civil,
commercial, automotive and marine industries; and the resource sector.
With a strong track record of delivering the highest quality workmanship, I also possess a solid reputation for
completing high risk, at heights projects, often requiring rope access - safely and successfully.
With well developed communicaton skills and a strong engineering aptitude, I have been responsible for the
design, fabrication, installation and welding – either directly or as a supervisor, for of a diverse range of works
and am reguarly called on to develop customised solutions for pre and post-fab issues arising from specification,
environmental and/ or structural related engineering issues.

Reporting to Project Supervisor
Overview The Woleebee Creek to Glebe Weir Pipeline Project is one of three major
projects underway as a part of the development of Queensland’s coal seam
gas (CSG) sector; and once completed, will transport up to 36,500 megalitres of
treated CSG water from QGC’s Woleebee Creek water treatment plant to the
Dawson Valley.
Accountabilities

Boilermaking – planning, cutting and fabrication
Fit pipes and weld to ASME standards
Shoot rise levels and gridding
Erect structural framing and install pipe work to rise levels

Overview Chase Engineering provided contracted support services to a range of Prime
Contractors and clients across New Zealand for civil, commercial and residential
works; employing and supervising up to 12 direct contractors – and was the
preferred contractor for many high risk and critical projects.

Career Highlights:
Erection of the biggest duplex tank in the southern hemisphere, located in Kawarua NZ which
has a 47m circumference. One key element of my work on this project was to run the dual crane
lift to place the top section onto the bottom section once in position.
Major structural steel maintenance project for the heritage listed Harrods Building in Knightsbridge,
London
