2. TechniGraphicS, Wooster OH, direct employee 10/2007 to 4/2008
Aerospace, Digital MockUp structural data conversion designer, mentor and checker. In depth CATIA version 5
training, in excess of 200 hours worth. TechniGraphicS was a Dassault Systems authorized training facility (at the
time). Checking and creating models, from NDD Mylar’s to CATIA Version 5 models. Mentor, for a novice crew of
approximately 20 designers, all of whom were new to CAD, Blueprint reading, and Boeing's specific methodology
and symbology, this data was needed for model creations.. Accurate 3D locations and part geometries reflecting all
installations, and break down of assembly structures. All work was done for a sub-contract with Boeing Helicopter
Division (PA) CH-47F data conversion effort. CATIA version 5, release 17, Mylar originals, pencils, scale, triangles,
PL’s and ADCN’s, used as design conversion tools, (DMU/DPA) . Dassault Systems approved - Published
curriculum for version 5 work bench trainings.

Creation of inter-assembly 3D Models, were derived from (legacy) Non Dimensional Drawings (NDD) Mylar
drawing originals. Assembly breakdowns, for primary, secondary structure and fuel line designs were used as CAD
part-assembly parameters. Detail part design of 3D longerons, stringers, decks, foundations, racks, fasteners, etc.

Boeing Helicopters Division (PA). Multi-faceted part geometry creations and intermediate surfacing skills used for

Alstom Transportation, Hornell NY, under contract, 8/2003 to 6/2004
Automotive, Digital Pre Assembly structural designer and draftsman. Structural handrail systems 3D assemblies and
drawing productions. Incorporating all required ergonomic and structural interface info and working out issues prior
to detail fabrications began. Parts list creations and individual hardware selections Auto-Cad 2000, CATIA version 4

program. App. 7 months’ time spent on, 3D modeling: assemblies, installations, machined parts, secondary
structures and creating parts lists. Hydraulics & propulsion systems designer, for the initial contract responsibility
(app 8 months’ time) responsible for: hydraulic lines, spatial allocations, tube charts’ detail and installation drawings
for supports. All Work performed for Black-hawk mid-fleet upgrades to; structures, electronics, systems and
weaponry. CATIA version 4 plus aircraft production line were design tools.
Boeing Helicopters Division, Ridley Park PA, under contract, 10/1999 to 8/2001
Aerospace, Digital Pre Assembly electrical systems designer and draftsman. Chinook helicopter designs upgrade
effort to be in accordance with CH-47F new model enhancements' requirements. Reverse engineering; from
different existing configurations (models CH-47A through CH-47D had different baseline structures and electronics
suites). 3D Wire harness routing with E3D software for inter-connectivity in accordance with military standards,
with parts lists and assemblies defined. Detailed installation and rip-out or re-use drawings. Modification-Kit
drawing revisions and creations, to incorporate new systems, to current configuration of Chinook, in the shops
hangar. Liaison interface with shop upon initial installation of designed harnesses for hook up and testing. Form
board, wire board revisions and creations for harnesses, were derived from CATIA's 3D harness models. Changes
were to be fed from there, down to the harness fabrication drawing. I traveled to the harness manufacturer, in
Maryland to assist with production issues on occasion. CATIA version 4, Silicon Graphics (using Boeing's Bogart
software) for 2D drawing productions, with structure and background imagery from: Digital Mock Up (DMU).
Sikorsky Aircraft, Stratford CT, under contract 10/1998 to 10/1999
Aerospace, Digital MockUp structural, electrical systems designer and draftsman. For approximately 6 months’
time: CATIA 3D part creations, of electrical equipment, hydraulics and fuel equipment, peripherals, structural, sheet
metal rack designs, and support structures, for various electrical equipment to populate the Digital MockUp.
Electrical designer for the initial contract responsibility (app 6 months time) of various electrical panels designs for
SH-60R Black-Hawk and Sea-Hawk programs. Creating and revising engineering orders and modification drawings.
CATIA version 4, Cadra and IGOR systems also used.

UniGraphics version 13, after completion of their CAST (Computer Aided Self Training) for the first few days. 3D
routing and packaging of fuel systems, hydraulic line designs and their respective installation drawings. Work done
on UniGraphics for dual program platforms, Super Sea Sprite (SH-2G) program (for both the Royal armed forces of

with Silicon Graphics computers, which had live links to the latest space models, as they were in work. Co-
