Henry the viii and his vi wives daniel rico morant-
1. Henry the VIII and His Wives
This work’s going to deal with the life
of one of the most strange kings
there’s ever been in England, Henry
the VIII
2. A little bit of History
Henry, the king, was a rare person who, during his
life, did lots of strange things such as breaking up
with catholic church and taking up his own
church, against the Pope’s opinion, who got very
angry and placed him, making the monarchies of
the moment break in war with England.
Henry died in 1547.
4. Jane Seymour was one of
Henry’s six wives and the
only one who could give a
son to Henry, but,
unfortunately, she died little
after having had his son
because of the healthy
conditions of the time. She
declared herself in favour of
the previous religion I mean
the catholic religion which
was in England, that Henry
VIII didn’t like, because it
was against his opinion.
5. This queen, Katherine of
Aragon, a part from coming
from Spain, was the queen
who ruled the longest in
England during Henry’s life.
Her marriage with Henry
lasted 24 years, and, during
it, she only had one
daughter, Maria
Tudor, who’d be, later, the
queen of England and
Ireland and whose husband
was Felipe II (Philip II).
Her days finished
7/01/1536, because it’s
believed she died due to a
cancer, like her
mother, Isabel la Católica.
