As registered manager, oversaw 11 supported living schemes for adults with autism and various
additional complex needs, regulatory compliance, financial management, staff development, etc.
Provide cross-functional team training, support and supervision. Work with external partners to
ensure consistent regulatory compliance.
Selected Achievements:
Stabilising and developing a service which lacked coherent management for a number of
years.
Growth of the service; negotiating, planning and implementing of schemes for young

As part of senior management team functions, including new provision development and
implementation, financial management, staff development, contract negotiations and order
fulfilment. Hold P&L and budget responsibilities. Provide cross-functional team training, support
and supervision. Work with external partners to ensure consistent regulatory compliance.
Selected Achievements:
Instrumental in turnaround and modernisation of children and young people services
within Camphill Community Glencraig.
Project Management of new bespoke service for individual with extreme complex needs;
including design and fitting out of adapted unit, recruitment and training of staff team.
Consistently developed strong, sustainable relationships with parents and executive
decision makers of Health and Social Care Trusts,Education Library Boards and R.Q.I.A.

Managed six bed residential unit as part of Boarding School Provision. Variously meeting the
needs of young people with Autism, Fragile X, ADHD, Attachment Disorder and behavioural
issues between 14 and 19. Management functions, including care and support plan development
and implantation, timetabling and activities, LAC coordination, liaising with external professionals
(Social Workers, Educational Psychologists, Psychiatry, Behaviour Support Services, etc.), staff
support and supervision, rota management, budgeting, etc.
Selected Achievements:
Providing a consistently high level f care and support, together with my staff team, so as
individuals were able to thrive and make developmental steps in many areas including
independence.
Complete refurbishment of the unit; including new bathroom layout (to improve access
and independence), new furniture for all pupil rooms and communal spaces.
Developing new vocational and free-time activities for the young people; a herb and
vegetable garden, a chicken run, holiday trip for four pupils to Lake District.

young people with learning disabilities.
Built and developed skills as carer for range of young people in a large residential school setting.
Provided key-worker support to individuals with ASD, Asperger Syndrome, Hydrocephalus,
Cerebral Palsy and ADHD. Supported individuals in personal care, teaching skills, fostering
independence and communication.
Responsible for dispensing medication and supporting individuals in attending medical
appointments, including preparing for surgery.
Training alongside work.
