Procedure
Ask students open questions related to food and packed
lunches:
For example:
- What did you eat for breakfast today?
- What have you been having for dinner with your
host families?
- What have you thought about the food in this
country? Have you liked the food you’ve been given?
Make surestudents understand what a packed lunch is.
- For a packed lunch,do you make your food before
you go to school/work?
- Do you buy everything pre-made?
Elicitlots of foods that students think go in packed lunches.
Give students paper and ask them to write two or three
things they have in their lunch today. Give them white tack
and ask them to put them on the board in the columns drawn
of either Healthy/Unhealthy

In pairs,students come up with ideas of what to put in a
packed lunch.They should think of their dream/ideal packed
lunch usingthe words on the board (and other words
