2. Definition of Astrology
The prediction of the earthly and human events by the observation and
interpretation of the fixed stars, the Sun, the Moon, and the planets
throughout the complete 12 months relative to the 12 signs.
There are 12 signs identified:
1)Aries 2) Taurus 3)Gemini 4) cancer
5) Leo 6) Virgo 7) Libra 8)Scorpio
9) Sagittarius 10) Capricorn 11) Aquarius 12) Pisces

3. History
The history of astrology can be traced back to
2400 years ago, when it was invented by
Babylonians in ancient Mesopotamia.
It was later developed in its Western form in
Greek civilization during the Hellenistic
period, and astrology eventually entered
Islamic culture as part of the Greek tradition,
before being returned to European culture
through Arabic learning during the Middle
Ages.

The heavens are divided according to the 12 zodiac constellations, and
the bright stars that emerge at regular intervals have a spiritual influence
over human events, according to Greek mythology.
Though the Copernican philosophy broke the geocentric worldview
required by astrology, interest in the subject has persisted into
contemporary times, and astrological signs are still popularly considered
to impact personality.

5. How to read Astrology
1. Identify the 12 zodiac signs and their related
sun sign dates: these are commonly thought to
be significant for determining one’s individual
traits.
2. Look at the sun, moon, and planets that are
incorporated into astrology.
3. Look at the zodiac as a 360 degree circle to
identify aspects. Aspects in astrology are the
way that the planets align with each other in
relation to their position around the earth.
