2. Perfect Day step by step
Now I’m not so nieve as to think I can give
you steps to have a perfect day without
knowing everything about, so Ill show you my
perfect day and you can apply the steps to
your own life.
3. Early Rise
I always wake up early, no matter what the
situation is. I love being the first one awake,
the peace and quiet is a great way to start my
day.
On this particular day I started my day off at
7:30
4. Breakfast
It’s important to get some food in you at the
start of the day, get some energy in you and
to get your “juice flowing”
On this day I took my girlfriend out to the
always “D-licious” Micky-D’s.
5. Relaxation
For me on this day relaxing was of much
importance, my first varsity football game
was this day. My team was coming off 1 win
in the last 3 yrs, so as you can imagine, I
needed to be focused.
6. Personal Free Time
In a big busy day I always make time to do
something that makes me happy. This day
was the biggest day of my life, but I still found
time to hangout with my girlfriend for at least
an hour.
7. Guy time/ Team Bonding
You always have to make time for your
friends. It was easy for me because all of my
friends are on my team. We met up at a
friends place kicked back and exchanged past
season stories and began to get ready.
8. Getting Focused
Perhaps the most important step for my
particular situation. Having fun and messing
around in your day is fine, but there comes a
point when you need to get serious, my point
happened when I had an hour before I needed
to get to the school.
9. Being a Leader
This could be the hardest step. Transitioning
from a peer to a captain isn’t always easy. You
need to make sure the team is on track and
focused without abusing your power.
10. The ride
This is where relaxing, getting focused, and
being a leader come together. You need to
make sure no one is messing around while
also getting your head into the game.
11. The Game
This is it, what you have been working for. All
your hard
work, preperation, blood, sweat, tears, this is
where it all ends. You go out onto that field
and play your heart out and walk out with the
W, and that’s exactly what I did.
12. Celebration.
You have to act like you have been there
before, but still show your excitement
Jump up and down
Scream
Throw water on your coach
Flex your muscles
Grow a mustache
Any of those will do
13. Party, party, party!
Go out and celebrate your first win of the
season. To ensure you have a good time, you
need to play good. If you run for over 100
yards, have over 10 tackles, and end up in the
end zone multiple times like I did…people will
notice you, and you will have a good time.
14. SLEEP!
You had your perfect day, now go home and
follow these steps.
Eat
Shower
Sleep
Sleep
Sleep
And repeat
15. Recap
