This document describes a story of change project aimed at promoting handwashing among students. The problem addressed was low rates of handwashing among students. Ideas generated to address this included putting up posters with messages about handwashing, teaching students songs about handwashing, and having student leaders demonstrate proper handwashing techniques. The final solution was to create a catchy slogan "Haath Ki Safai" and have student leaders teach songs and techniques to younger students. Over 100 students participated in learning about handwashing, positively impacting hygiene practices.
