1. Write a brief note on what you
think the listening text is about .
2. Read the questions that will be
asked or the directions to be followed.
1.Take down notes on the ideas names, and
events which you consider are important.
2.You may use shortcuts or symbols.
Examples:

1. Review your notes and then
answer or work on the exercise.
Directions:
Listen carefully to the text and note your ideas
regarding the text, the names of the
characters, and events that you think is
important. After listening, answer the
following questions.
1. How was the barrio teacher known to all
the pupils?
a. As the man who was very helpful
b. As the man who could answer any question
c. As the man who was so obsessed with
devising questions that would be answered
2. How did the students call
their teacher?
a. Teacher
b. Sir
c. Maestro
3. What was the question that would

c. “What am I holding in my hand?”
