Cyrus Daroowalla completed a 7-week internship from June to August 2014 at Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS) under the supervision of Nancy Codner in the purchasing department. He also assisted other departments including finance, food services, budget, payroll, internal audit, and human resources. As part of his internship, Cyrus separated purchase orders, checked cash receipts and timecards, used Excel and financial programs, and assisted with projects in internal audit and food services. He learned how to work in a professional environment and use financial systems. Cyrus enjoyed developing relationships with employees and would recommend the internship experience to others.
