Crop Production Services: Crop Consultant/Sales May 2009 - Present
• Prepare and present fertilizer and chemical recommendations to current and prospective customers
• Advise growers on the correct varieties of seed to be placed on their farms and build VR seeding reccomendations
• Using Echelon, make VR fertilizer and lime recommendations
• Perform outside duties as needed throughout the seasons (Mix & load chemicals, operated forklift, TerraGator, fill NH3
tanks, deliver products to customer, etc.)
• Scout customer’s fields during the growing season and decide on timing for crop protection and foliar nutritional
product applications
• Coordinate annual employee gatherings as well as organize grower appreciation meeting that hosts 160+ local growers
Crop Production Services: Intern May – August 2008
• Throughout the growing season observed agricultural production fields for disease and agronomic complications
• Established and maintained strong agricultural retailer/producer relations
• Organized, planned, and timed aerial fungicide applications for all salesman
Ag View FS, Inc: Crop Monitoring Internship May – August 2007
• Represented Ag View FS, scouting 10,000 acres of corn and soybeans on a bi-weekly basis
• Wrote daily scouting reports and was the editor for the scouting team
• Created and maintained an Aphid Watch website for growers to use to track infestations
